Seems bad.

Isnt the whole point of the rule for it to be you know, 3 weeks before it takes effect. For the last week and a half Im fairly certain that people aware of the combo had kept their decks the same. When people saw the errata, Im sure many checked their calendars and knew it wasnt supposed to affect their jump.

YES because the 4 people who had their entire deck based around it are going to be ****ed, the majority general consensus is this combo is bad for the game and 2 of those 4 people live in florida, my players were complaining about it, we missed the deadline by 2 days and they made a judgement call to allow this. since this doesnt affect you get off ma thread

lol agreed. that's the whole reason I still have the loop ready. Ari, did Tylar give you permission to do this? Tylar is pretty strict about the 3 week thing.

If only 4 people are using it, then it shouldnt matter.

Fact of the matter is this breaks precedent. If garbage like this keeps happening, the game will go to even further into the ****ter

The combo is part of the game, if you could allow changing the rules of the game why dont you go ahead and make the anbus banned for this event too?

If youd like to make a private forum where only the people you deem ok to post their opinions, by all means go for it. Until then I will post my opinions on "your" thread. However that doesnt mean you need to go Eric Melone and QQ about any and all criticism.

You also act like its the most broken thing to hit the game since Respective Dreams. The errata didnt even need to happen. A simple Dehydration stops it and it costs cards from hand and for you to waste your Danzo/not use him until T5/6. Fourth Hokage pops in and can use jutsu too. Most competitive decks have main deck answers to it, or you can take care of the problem before it even happens via killing off the ambush sasuke or kakashi or just kill the one that is in play first.

Also how is pointing out flaws in a tournament trolling? Its a very serious concern when people think they can just change the rules like this. First its erratas being pushed forwards, then bans, then sets, then maybe people will just start making up bans for their tournaments. Its a very slippery slope. Im sorry that just because someone doesnt share the same point of view that you cant respond to them.

Care to justify why you did this? Because a couple of local players didnt like it? Seems like A LOT of favoritism. They were going to show up to the SJC regardless, and if they werent they obviously werent competitive players anyways. Nobody is going to think "Awesome! Now Ill build a deck for that SJC in a week and a half" instead, Im sure that some people will be thinking, "God ****it, they just changed something that A. Wasnt supposed to be changed, B. I had built around playing with/against and C. I had just spent a good deal of money to play a strong combo at this SJC."

But of course your not going to respond to a logical post because Im clearly trolling.

I know that if I was going to this tournament I would be extremely ****ed. My deck probably wouldnt even run the combo either. Yet this affects me, and EVERY other person playing the game at a competitive level. If people have already made expensive travel arrangements to ANY tournament, and an errata comes out after those arrangments and the TO changes it a week and a half after the announcment and a week and a half before the SJC is to take place that person would probably be ****ed. My doing this you basically tell people they better not build their decks until a week before the tournament, otherwise it could easily change.

actually one more thing to say in answer to you. the majority as in 85% or more of playersdont like this combo and it may not be dreams worthy as early as turn 3 its just as if not deadlier and one thing bandai has stressed is it doesnt want jumps won by money which having these cards causes, thus im fine with it
