n 1005 vs j 829

Say I have n 1005 out and I attack with him and my opponent blocks, I activate j 829 on his head ninja we'll say it's kisame hoshigaki in injured status, my opponent passes and I pass. Where would the kisame go? to the chakra area or to the br area? Thanks...

Naruto Uzumaki (Taijutsu) n971... Can he be surged by discarding a "Naruto Uzumaki" ninja card or does it have to be the Naruto Uzumaki Taijutsu) card to surge him? Thanks...

Or does it interrupt and activate at the time the jutsu is played?

His effect triggers when he uses a Jutsu. The effect would go on the chain right after the Jutsu. So your chain would look as follows: Jutsu used by Sasuke > Sasuke's effect.

Does this mean you can chain to his jutsu before his effect applies to kill 2 chakra, or does his effect just kill your chakra instantly, and then you can use whatever chakra is left to chain with? thanks wanted to clearify.

In this situation, you would choose which replacement effect to use.

You can Surge n971 with any Ninja card with the name "Naruto Uzumaki."

The Jutsu goes on the chain first. Then Sasuke's effect. You would discard 2 of your opponent's Chakra after Sasuke's effect resolves.

Meaning the chain has to resolve for his effect to burn your chakra?
So my chakra is still there if I chain to his jutsu/effect... Right?

Yes, the Chakra is discarded when the chain resolves. The Chakra would still be there if you chained to his effect.
