Any Interesting Release Event Stories?

I won first place at the Little Shop of Comics tournament! There were six people there, including myself, and each person got to play in three rounds. I sweeped each of my three rounds! 10-0 Battle Rewards in each of them! Also, the thing is, I used the blue Sasuke deck with absolutely no modifications to it at all. I added nothing from my sideboard or from my booster pack. It freaking pwns!

I didnt play. I got a deck where my best card was dead (Zabuza being the only water guy i got out of 60 cards) and no way to play him. So instead of doing what Bandai did at GAMA, it was ruled i was outta luck. Since i had only 1 guy that was a turn 5 cost or better, i would of just got trounced in any game where it would of gotten to turn 5.

I was sick anyway, so i just went home and threw up.

Anyone else have the Dead Zabuza problem?

yea that was super poor deck construction on their part...as in the company who originally created it

I have to say the Naruto deck was kinda lacking, the top players at my release event all had the Sasuke deck. My sister got a Zabuza and was unable to use him but to make up for it she got Kakashi [Copy Ninja] and Lightning Edge.

The Zabuza thing happens. Just change him out for a side deck card.

I have seen that deck run smoothly without Zabuza and win consistantly. You should have actually tried to run it.
