As it was pointed out before, a lot of the mill card we have now will be gone, so I don't think it's an immediate concern. However, I do feel that they make mill just too easy. Send out and mill, and deal damage and mill, put in play and mill. They're adding mill effects to other normal effects. If not watched it could roll out of control.
I think WoF would be fine as long as we can't spam fire ninjas, but we get Anbu with world and now we have an issue. When Anbu was errata'd, I had below average players milling half my deck with WoF on turn 2 every game without me being able to do anything. There is a downside where you have only so many cards to choose from. The deck does lose to standard means of removal and powerful ninjas, but if you lose your resources before you get them, then you lose without ever having a chance. If it gets to the point where every card you play mills 2 or 3 cards each and you play an average of 3 cards a turn, that's 6 to 9 cards every turn. That's a lot. That's what has to watched out for, having milling be to easy to do. |

Lol I agree with nvs. It's pretty OP....kiba childhood+pakkun+WoF+anbu+obito.
You will more then likely mill 4 with kids and pakkun then paradise or.tatics an annum or two play any two drop fire with beef stats kotetsu so you don't get trampled and obito and pay two fire mill 5 and additional ..wof additional.....play fireball....mill..additional.....wow... I may build mill again |

I don't know where you're finding fire chakra generation in mass, but fill us in.

2) yeah, because fire will have 6+ chakra by turn 2 so you can hit jibs and then photo in a row :eyeroll: just be glad mill isn't lightning 3) mill is still no threat. Some decks get ADVANTAGES when you lose cards or have them in the discard. Mill is finally competitive, but it's not like it's top tier. |

Indeed, mill has been receiving a disproportionate amount of support lately. First World of Fire, now Obito and Pakkun...
I do believe more recycle and deck-regen effects need to be brought forth to counter this. Moreover, it might be nice to have effects that reclaim cards removed from the game (what, too Yu-Gi-Oh!? :P ). Lightning and Earth have some good effects along those lines, but they only go so far. Lack of Emina is also painful. That Lightning Mission everyone's raving about is OK, but it feels insufficient to keep pace with all this mill. Moreover, Pakkun can easily be errata'ed by making his a "can" effect, activated at the option of the player. That way, it would only grind one additional card per turn (or related trigger effect?). Still, that would do little to mitigate how powerful Mill has become. Heaven forbid they reprint Roshi now... :P |

I've already known that it would potentially kill me off if its as OP as I know it could be, but its the fact everyone wants to turn a blind eye to it. I nderstand that fire needed some support. I felt that late game mill was decent and the introduction of the -1/-1 theme was a generally good step in the right direction, but early game mill that could potentionally mill at least 10-12 cards in your deck by turn 2 is taking it too far. Those 10-12 cards could have been possibly your cards to counter either WoF or jutss to help lesson the hurt of the mill effect ninjas. This is all probability but the chaces of it happening are greatly increased with each time you mill your deck. These are just from a person who hates math (especially dealing with probability) but with ratios like that we are really looking at some very bleak times in the game. If its as successful as the anbu were then we will be seeing a bad meta game again.
