Half themes? Are you serious? Toads is fairly complete. True Allies is a whole theme. Taijutsu has an OTK. What do you want? I've been playing lightning since the beginning and I have never had any problems making decks.

Yes it is. I would not run that Sasuke over any other Sasuke in the format. The only thing it has going for it is the Chidori that snipes 2.

I'll name one. Do you remember The fourth hokage Space ninjutsu? How about the fact that Sakura and Kakashi TA are valid but Naruto TA isn't. Even the fact that ninja's lose there effect names when injured or negated seemed like it was made to nerf TA. There are others but I'm sleep deprived

What about combination that was almost completely dropped one set after it came out. Toads is a combination of Sage mode/ Summoning/Combination it's three half themes trying to be rolled in one. True Allies is actually my favorite deck design because it's how I want all deck to be designed like where there is a skeleton (a couple of cards that are purely essential) and then other cards that makes the deck variate between players to point of being other themes entirely. But then Clone status is a complete half theme and I'm sure there are others that are like that.

Now I don't have a issue building a deck. But it hasn't been nearly as easy as say earth or water where the theme of the element is so obvious that you can't really build any other competitive theme in it. I honestly believe that Lightning players have the biggest capacities for deck building because even Tylar says he doesn't make themes he just gives us good cards here and there and we fit the puzzle pieces together for ourselves.

Also I've been playing lightning since Dream Legacy and I never left it and I never will but I can't say that there weren't times where I didn't know what I was gonna build in fact it was that way for a long time I didn't have a competitive lightning deck till Battle of destiny and even then it was lightning/ earth and completely unconventional.

it wont build as much chakra any more without group lesson so just shut up. Fire has a better mission line up post rotation than lightning does and we all know it, making the freedori sasuke better and more consostent than naruto.

Never one to be outdone, especially not by the likes of Sasuke, Naruto makes his WoW debut with... A similarly cruddy effect. :P At least Naruto's version of this effect is Valid, but 8 CHAKRA!?! C'mon!

Okay, honestly, it's not that bad. After all, Lightning does have a penchant for generating mad Chakra, and the idea of not having to use that Chakra for a Rasengan is mighty appealing, especially if you wanna go for an early-game Feral Rage. But let's face it, unless you're rolling Choji or some other deck-to-Chakra effect along with this, you're probably not gonna see the Chakra you need for this effect until turn 2 or 3, and hopefully by then you'll have grown into a bigger, stronger Naruto with a better effect.

All told, this might be a good Naruto to set up for Emerging Beast; as long as you're dumping Chakras to get off this Naruto's effect, you'll have enough to launch into your Reinforcement Narutos once EB hits the field. But most players will tell you it's better just to roll 3 EB's so as to guarantee hitting their effect, and if you really feel the urge, to set up your early game using Childhood Naruto. Besides, you can really only roll 3 Rasengans (or Chidoris, for that matter) per deck; if it were "any Jutsu with the word 'Rasengan' (or 'Chidori') in its name," I might be singing a different tune. But unless you're really trying to conserve Chakra here, I think you're wasting valuable deck space if you roll these cards. Then again, these effects might be just what one needs against Water...

Fire loses the only mission of there's that doesn't suck aka JLDC. What does lightning lose mission lineup wise? Reunion, Group lesson and Messenger ninja's. Many people don't run any of them anymore I know I don't. I use Bonds of Friendship, Monster Research, Anko's memory's and Great Naruto Bridge. Lightning has the best mission line up come rotation and as far as chakra build Surprise Ability doesn't rotate. So, anyone thinking Fire of all elements has a better mission lineup is a complete and utter idiot who can't possibly play this game with anyone but themselves because any decent lightning player should have played almost all of these missions at one point or another.

Now Lightning chakra build won't be as fast but the chakra generation is still the best in lightning no one can build more chakra than a well built lightning deck.
