Weapons of War Wishlist| Subcategory: Uneven Super Rares
So does anyone remember TP3? Does anyone remember the fact that some Elements received more SRs than normal, and that others got nerfed?
And by some I mean Lightning, and by others I mean Wind, Water and Earth. So I thought that this Shenanigan (how I like to call it) was a TP3 move only. But Tylar hinted that Water is the Spotlight Element in this Set, which I am happy for, which is actually great for Water because it got nerfed in TP3. So the meaning of this thread is to know if you are happy with this move. Here's what Tylar said: Quote:
(Also, because I can't make 2 polls in this thread I'll make another one to know what Element do you think that should be boosted as well.) -TheLastHokage: Santa's Wishlist Elf. Last edited by TheLastHokage : 07-10-2011 at 06:32 PM. |

My friend and I have actually been talking about this. I feel TP3 was really bad as far as playable cards go. Blatantly giving Lightning several supers aren't going to set them up for success post-rotation and neither is castrating the other elements. I feel each element should be represented as closely as possible. However that being said. I realize the current power level of water and how stacked they are already to be great when set 22 hits. So reluctantly I agree that Water won't need many cards to stay competitive. The fact that they're showering Water with supers in set 22 makes sense since it's the "Sasuke gets facerolled three times and by all means should thankfully be dead, but can't rely on his own skills as a ninja to win" set. But I think you'll crack one of these supers and wish you hadn't.

I don't understand why it's such a big deal. As long as the same element doesn't consistently get the majority of super rare cards, you shouldn't be complaining about anything. If you haven't noticed, super rares aren't always better cards than other rarities. Bandai does that on purpose. If all the best cards were super rare only, this would be a money game.
