My Block deck... I could use "Team DoughBoy Swag's" deck... but I'm just diddling with random ideas until then... meh.
random ideas= children....................'s card games tech choices.

I won half my games last saturday mainly because I was just a better player, not cuz my deck was better. I wanna go this saturday to continue testing. people please show up!

Saul about 90% of the games you lost were purely because you are a worse player. You misplayed about once a turn continually against both me and Alex. Most of the games you won? The only game you beat me you clashed then curved 2 warhawks no one could lose with such a massive card advantage with equal field presence . This is in no way saying your a bad player overall but this format your a pretty bad you forgot the combo of your deck with such repetition it mad me feel bad to even lose one game. So basically im saying stop being so full of yourself your not close to as good as you think.

everyone be quiet... we need to be on the same page come Gencon. I'd rather have any of us win it than any of them (especially the West players)...

This is honestly the last week I test anything different for Block. I am pretty certain I am just going to run Ryan/Alex's deck if I lose the majority of the games one more week in a row.

I like Unlimited a lot too. You'll see my deck this weekend. I hope Mike brings his Unlimited deck so we can test again too.

lol, I only really made one misplay at the end vs you. You have no way of knowing if I misplay when you don't know what I have in my hand. I ran into a lot of hand cost issues, and even missing 2 drops in a row vs you, and still winning. My play during games I won put me in a winning position every time, however I lost because the deck itsself wasn't good enough. I didn't have nearly enough offensive power. Games were I put myself in a winning position and lose due to lack of practice I don't count as losses in my head, it's just something I have to remember for next time.

I'm not trying to be full of myself, I'm simply stating the facts of the games that were played last weekend. I forgot the combo of my deck? umm.. what the heck are you talking about? the deck is so simple and straight forward that even you can pilot a version of it well. it's loop, draw cards, and repeat. simple. Don't go thinking it's some crazy complicated thing that only good players can do.

Let me say this here openly, I suck at Naruto right now, especially compared to how I used to play 2 and 3 years ago. I'm way past my prime and my decision making/deck building has gone down quite a bit. I simply do not have the time to dedicate and stay sharp at the game like I used to. I won about half my games against you guys, when you guys are building way better decks than me and are playing WAAY more often than I am. Put that into perspective time you try to call me out on anything. (especially when I wasn't even trying offend anyone.)

With that said don't compare myself to you because when it comes to experience and player skill I have more ( just stating facts). Some of the advice you were trying to give Ryan at the end of the matches was just awful. Ryan is 8x better at playing this game than you are (including better than me), you should listen to his advice and maybe you can catch up to him.

So maybe you should not be so full of yourself in thinking you know everything, and can somehow call out "misplays" without knowing a person's hand.

Where on the same page Scott im just letting Saul know hes has a gargantuan ego for his amount of skill and credentials. I am clearly demeaning him but not to say hes bad just to let him know don't be so confident when you have no right to be

Just so you know this is Ryan not Alex. The combo of the deck isn't just sakura/kakashi its useing your Sakura and Reanimations to stop there play's as me and Alex were doing correctly. Sorry to burst your bubble but Alex his the best player in New England this format(other then Joe) you can say hes a bad player which I do agree with but he has a colossal knowledge of this meta and how to play it.

As for your deck not being able to finish the job you insulted my deck at VA saying it wasn't good and that your water deck was superior yet Thomas piloting my deck card for card won the event. To further prove my point as of the deck and Alex's true potential have dominated MA since I transformed Jovad's miserable version of the deck. Alex has split for 1st in every chunin and almost every local in the last year yet you continue to act as if hes beneath you. The advice Alex was giving me was bad because he is a complete idiot and only sees the complex plays but misses the most obvious blatant plays. Lastly the misplays I was referring to was the you forgot every single turn when i used sakura to draw a card you can chain your own sakura to stop me from drawing this is how I came back game 3 when I had no hope of winning.

Now for the credentials aspect my first event was PA 10' its been 2 years since then and ive topped 3 Kage or higher level events thats pretty good taking my age and mental capability's into account. You've been going to large events for upwards of 5 years now and have 1 more tops then me, yes 2 of your tops were Gencon but still 4 tops in 5 years isn't great.

I still don't know how you could have taken that post as me being egotistical. I was saying I had a sub-par deck, and my play skill carried me through some wins. I wasn't dissing anyone in that post.

your basically forcing a response out of me when I didn't intend this to be the topic of conversation. But i didn't realize that 2 Gencon tops and 2 Jump tops weren't enough credentials....I must have not gotten the Memo.
