How many people do you need to host tournaments?

4, but if you have 3 you can use the meijin as like a ghost player.

How do you use the meijin as a ghost? Just do not count the wins?

You cannot and should not do this, a judge cannot both judge and play because it is a conflict of interest and sets a bad precident. It is against the tournament rules for a Meijin to play in a tournament they are judging.

You can host a tournament with at least 3 players, as a tournament has to be at least 3 rounds. But that is the way I see it, but I'm not sure exactly how smaller events work.

3-4: 2 Rounds
5-8: 3 Rounds 9-16: 4 Rounds 17-32: 5 Rounds 33-64: 6 Rounds I don't know if the pattern follows from there one, but all the tournaments I have been to have been in one of those ranges, so with 7 players, that would put you at 3 rounds. |
