That's interesting that it was that close though. I don't think your deck is ridiculously over powerful but that it does some pretty crazy stuff that you need to go out of your way to deal with or find a different way to threaten you to come out on top. Usually steady, solid decks do well but don't go all the way b/c they can't do that sort of thing/don't really excel at anything that the opponent needs to deal with but just tempo them out over time. Do you feel he was successful against you b/c he was just able to wear u down with all the high end squads/constantly rebuilding field or more that he was just winning the jutsu chains that matter, or something else entirely?

The way I see the 2 decks it just seems like you should be able to push him end game and follow through quick enough that he'd have trouble recovering, where it would be a contest of if u can win before he can regain field presence. Even after that if you could still push out another destructive chain it seems like you'd have the win.

He has the same amount of push for game tactics as I but has ways to get out more stronger ninjas faster. He has the ability to know my outs and then prepare to out chain me. That coupled with me not drawing very idealy.

Yah, drawing poorly always sucks. I feel that chiyo, kps, and mother and father give you more push than his. Harder to win jutsu chains, less options to counter. All else equal. Anyways, thx for answering my questions.
