Sai kinda did get owned because of what Deidara told him
yes Deidara and Sasori are trapped untill their souls get set free like sais brother
yeah Kankuro is a freakin G for what he did and said
Omoi... meh do not care for that much

and Bad Guys lost because in the next fight they will win and will end up killing some leaf and a few important ninjas, thats my thought

can you believe sais face? i nearly crapped ma pants 0_0. mr emotionless who only fairly recently learned to smile for real had the most ****ed off look on his face ever. dude was out for blood. only scarier face ive seen in this series was naruto's when haku "killed" sasuke and he went all 9 tails for the first time, gaaras when we first saw his sand armor <when it was crumbling away and we saw his rape face>.

EDIT: saw omoi's sword..ok, who CAN'T use that jutsu. sasuke can use it. apparently all samurai can use something like it. omoi can do it.

So, it seems if the soul feels a very strong connection to something, or someone else, it can break the jutsu.

Now that is cool. Power of the human spirit man. Always knew I liked this manga for it's depth.

i think i would more compare it to what was going on in the Casper movie <for those that remember >, more like them being free of something unfinished that still attached their soul to the mortal realm. thats what it seems to me anyway

i mean if it was just having a strong connection to someone then it would be useless to bring some of these people back since running into an important person would be GG. heck, how did the hokage fight against hiruzen when oro brought them back. i imagine they had a pretty strong bond.

unless it was because kabuto hadn't turned him into a killing machine and that was why a bond was able to free him. but if thats true, then aside maybe the actual bad guys, seems like letting them keep their free will is a dumb thing to do since all the good guys will inevitably meet with people they have a bond with. dan will get to tsuande and/or shizune, asuma will get to shikamaru, etc.


all in all it was a tad anti climactic. i mean last chapter we were mostly all fairly convinced that the good guys were gonna lose. perhaps they would survive and get away/be captured. but that was...almost too easy.
