well like is said earlyer its kinda hard to take naruto serious cuz 80% of his fight where lucky wins so yea we all know neji is great fighter but naruto is troublemaker and can even sometimes catch even the great kakashi with his dirty tricks

Okay so we know that with the Kyuubi's chakra Naruto is faster and Stronger than Neji. We also know that Naruto's Rasengan is a safe bet that if it hits it wins him the fight. Now while I don't think it will be an easy fight I do believe Naruto will come out the winner trickery is Naruto's most powerfull tactical advantage. Now someone will say rotation but if Neji can only hold off a wave of clones for a minute then the actual Naruto doesn't have to be the one holding or using the Rasengan he can send clones in with it forcing Neji to do something to avoid it and that's when Naruto's biggest opening will probably present itself.

that makes sense.
I mean Neji can't hold Rotation forever. Naruto can rasengan in between the gaps of rotation.

we don't know either of those things. neji isn't on the low end of strength (granted he's not on the 5 side either) although it is likely that kyuubi chakra makes naruto stronger than him. speed on the other hand is a different thing. neji is of equal speed to rock lee with no weights. if naruto IS faster, then yes, he could win by spamming clones +rasengan, but we don't know if he's faster or not. possible, but not proven.

Tailed beast mode does increase speed, the more tails the faster he gets, the more he fights like the nine tailed fox.

Naruto punched his way through the crystal ice mirrors and at a speed in which Haku couldn't move out the way by accessing the kyubi's chakra. When he fought Neji the first time Naruto was capable of going at a speed Neji couldn't keep up with or to the least was on par with Neji's speed. We do know that because it happened. So it's fairly safe to assume that Kyubi Naruto is faster than Neji and stronger than Neji because he's accomplished no such feats as to have dissapeared off the grid of a Byakugan.

I believe that Neji is going to be the victor here. thefollowing breaks down why...

Neji is intelligent and reserved. He is not however vicious although he is competitive and headstrong. He manages to always retain his serious attitude even in the most lighthearted situations.

this would play to his advantage as naruto would not takethe fight seriously unless Neji did something to really **** him off. And Neji as smart as he is (although the cards never give him any credit) would not fall prey to any trap he did before. And if he ever did get his hands on naruto he would start locking down his chakra with no hesitation. This alone would limit narutos capability of winning.

Neji would be serious from start to finish, beginning with chakra lock, and ending with protection and reversal of what offense remains. Naruto would not get serious until he was starting to lose and then his recklessness would take hold and that is where Neji would become the victor maintaining his cool and using narutos haphazard attack style to his advantage.
my key point is: Narutos main victories rely on the rasengan, and Neji can easily prevent those from becoming a problem. in thier previous battle in the anime narutos only real thing was the clones and since then Neji has gotten stronger as well has naruto. but Nejis fighting capability is stronger where as naruto just has more chakra access to be locked off.

well to be fair it would be nice if we had like a number on chakra and how much chakra eaqch move takes to cast so we can get a 100% sure win cuz for all we kno rotation cant stop rasengan

80%? that depends on what you mean by luck. i mean anytime someone wins you could say that it was lucky they were better then their opponent

mizuki: mizuki got the crap beat out of him. what was the luck part? that he was around for irukas speech?

haku: seems like a pretty fair win to me. haku stood 0 chance against kyuubi naruto. whats the luck part? that he's a jinchuuriki? that sasuke "died"?

rain guys in the forest of death: sure he had "help", but come on, naruto took down that entire squad pretty much single handedly. what was the luck? that they sucked?

kiba: ok, you got me. but to be fair he was handicapped in that fight to begin with. but he did indeed get lucky.

neji: looks like another pretty fair win. was the lucky part that genma didn't call the match as soon as 64 palms landed and naruto was floored?

gaara: another fair win in my eyes.

kakuzu: sure others had been fighting him, but he didn't really take real damage...i mean he has to be killed 5 times. so while he didn't fight kakuzu at his "best", but still. i wouldn't call that luck so much as being a scavenger. fact is he easily accomplished on his own what had been very difficult for kakashi ino and chouji.

pain: i suppose the lucky part here is that hinata "died"?

hasn't really been in a fight since then

and since we're only talking about wins, i left the other fights out because he either lost...or because they barely qualify as fights. or both.

so out of 8 wins, i would say only 1 was truly lucky. otherwise it depends on what you hink of as luck. most of it seems pretty legit to me. you could call haku and pain luck to some extent i suppose. but even then that's just 3...that's less than 50% =/

either im forgetting fights, or every fight in the history of forever was won by luck to you

but of course all <not> cool people know...there is no luck, there is only the force

honestly? i applaud you and kick myself for not thinking of something like that sooner.

we don't know that neji's 2.5 in strength is lower than naruto's pre kyuubi 3? we don't know that kyuubi naruto is faster then neji's 4, when sasuke couldn't keep track of kyuubi naruto with 2 tomoe and 3.5 speed, but could easily keep up with haku's 4 with no sharingan at all and a speed lower than 3.5 <i believe you and I came to 1.5-2.5>? why that sounds like 1 of those is positively indisputable fact and the other 1 is a strongly implied educated guess.

don't kid yourself, kyuubi naruto is stronger and faster. not to mention pretty much immune to jyuuken <or at least highly resistant>

not valid. all participants are 100% motivated. they ALL take every fight seriously. that way people don't go "oh, shikamaru will just give up or be too lazy to really try" or "kimimaro would never fight against orochimaru" or of course, "naruto wouldn't take the fight seriously because i have fooled myself into believing that based off what i can only assume is a love for neji and/or dislike of naruto". as to why you don't think naruto would take it seriously in the first place is beyond me. i mean off the top of my head the only time i can recall him not taking a fight seriously was against lee...but that was because he looked funny and he thought of him as weak <i mean, come on...look at lee. based off looks, i certainly wouldn't expect much of him either>. he has never not taken a strong opponent <more accurately, an opponent he see's as strong> seriously. and he most definitely knows neji is strong. he has first hand experience in that department.

not that it matters, but doesn't look all that smart to me. between the chuunin exams to shippuuden he only ranges from 2.5-3. seems pretty average >_>. good at analyzing sure. but never came off as all that smart to me with or without the stats. not dumb of course. but i think your giving hima tad too much credit <not that actual stats matter to the cards. anyway, back on topic

that i can agree on. but its not like naruto is ever not able to come up with some tactic. and naruto only really used 2 tricks on neji. holding a clone back in the fight to make neji think that was the real him, and then at the end when he had that shadow clone lying their in his place. it's not like naruto was using some new trick ever 2 seconds, drastically limiting his options.

not really. kyuubi laughs at 64 palms

you mean, pretty much all of it? seems unlikely. neji was barely able to stand up to a naruto that was simply glowing with no bodily transformations at all. i doubt he'd be able to stand up to fangs/claws, let alone 1 tail. or did you not know naruto could use the kyuubi chakra up to 1 tail in this fight?

BS, even if there WASN'T a rule that makes that not how it would go.

yeah, cuz that's worked out so well for everyone else who has ever fought naruto...and by everyone i mean no oen except lee <and thats lee BEFORE naruto even saw him as very strong and not knowing how he fights> i mean jesus, naruto was super angry at neji their entire fight. sure didn't stop naruto from being as clever as always. certainly didn't stop him from winning.

its not getting locked off. plain and simple. kyuubi says no to 64 palms. internal damage from normal jyuuken attacks wont do much good against his super recovery rate...assuming he could even keep up with naruto's speed. which seems doubtful considering sasuke couldn't keep track of naruto with a two tomoe sharingan.

now your hitting shippuden naruto now he has real skill being able to control the Nine tail and go to sage mode. but the fight with haku he got lucky haku was nice and would of been died along time ago plus the seal broke thats kinda lucky to if you ask me. the mizuki well that just very unlucky of mizuki getting hit with 1k shadowclone LOL. now as for the rain ninjas sasuke spotted them out but your right naruto whiped some rear but falls in the 20% of not luck. now im not calling this fight a lucky fight but what stoping naruto or even neji from getting luck i mean its kinda hard to take naruto serious back then is he aloud to use the nine tails powers? if so naruto has a chance in winning this fight due to the fact that he will have more chakra and will be faster then neji is
