Naruto Cup: Round 7 Uchiha Sasuke vs. Jiroubou

Sasuke:
Sasuke is at full power, healed to 100% after his battle with Naruto at the hospital. No restrictions.

Jiroubou:
Jiroubou is at full power, healed to 100% after his battle with Chouji. No restriction.

It's kind of fitting that this match-up would occur after Naruto vs. Chouji. Can Sasuke live up to his rivals accomplishment or will Jiroubou crush Sasuke's ambitions with his awesome might? Let the battle commence.

Kind of a bad match here. Even though Sasuke can't go State 2, or even State 1, his speed and the Sharingan make fighting a slow, predictable opponent way too easy. Plus Sasuke has massive range advantage, being able to fire back with Fireball or Phoenix Flower barrages. Finish with Chidori, and Sasuke rolls.

Why can't Sasuke use his Cursed Seal?

Didn't Kakashi seal it after his match with Yoroi, and it wasn't unsealed until he left the village? In any case, he barely has State 1. Not that it matters, Jirobo would still get smoked.

it was sealed, however the seal kakashi used relies on sasuke own will power...you could say that it wasn't truly sealed, just put directly under sasuke's control. he never lost the ability to use it. for example, he used it against gaara

well, jirobo is slow, and sasuke has access to level 2 curse seal. jiribo is strong, but sasuke can rip him to shreds with chidori, plus with chidori he can see what jirobo will do before he even does it, making his lack of speed even more crippling. I say sasuke wins. I'm pretty sure that sasuke could even with without curse seal, unless by some miracle jirobo got the earth dome around him and started draining his chakra, in which case he would likely go full out and break through the dome with a cursed chidori.

He can't use State 2 yet. He didn't have access to that power until he was sealed in the barrel with the pills from Sakon. Not that I disagree that Sasuke would tear him to shreds.

oh yeah. I forgot haha still, curse state 1 should be enough, since sasuke has a massive speed/reaction time advantage, and jirobo doesn't have much in the ranged attacks category.

Palisrock has a good point in that Sasuke only has 2 tomoe sharingan, so he may not be able to avoid Earth Dome, or Great Earth Boulder. Jirobo did catch 5 ninjas with the dome prison.

I still think Sasuke wins, but this gives more info.

A: the only reason jirobo caught them is because it was a surprise trap. in this tournament, every opponent jirobo would face would already know he could do that.

B: sasuke could chidori through some rocks I'd say.
