Chapter I: The Crows


Three massive crows land on the branch of an extremely dead tree

Deets-Crow: Weelllllllll hello thar y'all. We've decided to take some time out of our busy schedule of looking for shiny objects and eating dead things to help keep track of the goings on of the Hidden Sound Village

Andrew Crow-dis: All the other ninjas are seriously raging since the Sound Ninjas have been trolling their villages and stuff for a while now. So now the Leaf Village sent an Anbu Squad to take the Sound Ninjas out once and for all! Seriously epic battles are sure to ensue

Thayli-Crow: CAW! CAAAAAAAAAAAAW!

Deets-Crow:Yes! I completely agree, Thayli! Also, we'll be like totally relaying certain messages that reach us every day and giving the mornin' news about what happened the previous night.

Andrew Crow-dis: Dude, look! That squirrel. In the road. IT ISN'T MOVING.

REMINDER OF ROLES:

9 Sound Specials
Otokage:
- Can live on in a vessel if killed (ONCE PER GAME)
- Is aware of Right Hand’s role
- (Speaking Power)
Right Hand:
- Is aware of Otokage’s role
- [During Night Phase] Name two players, one dead and one living. If both turn out to be Ordinary Sound Ninjas, then kill the living one and resurrect the dead one. The result will be that “Player X was killed” (ONCE PER GAME)
Black Ops:
- [During Night Phase] May investigate
Eunuch (2):
- Vote counts double
Medical Researcher:
- May protect one player from being killed (except for Right Hand’s special ability)
- If Curse Seal Bearer is targeted, they achieve “State 2”
- If a vessel is selected then they gain all of the Curse Seal Bearer’s abilities.
Curse Seal Bearer:
- If killed, randomly kills one member of faction that killed him
- If “State 2”, kill two people from that faction
Vessel (2):
- Capable of becoming replacement body for Otokage. Upon the death of Otokage, one living vessel is randomly selected.


The Bounty Hunter (Third Faction)
- Works on Cycle: 1st night, no ability. 2nd night, investigate. 3rd night, kill. And then repeat.
- If the Bounty Hunter kills the Otokage, the Bounty Hunter wins.
*** In order for the Bounty Hunter to win, the Otokage must be completely dead (meaning all the vessels are dead or he has already revived using a vessel once before he is killed by the bounty hunter)***

7 Man Anbu Squad
Anbu Captain:
- (Speaking Power)
- (HIDDEN POWER)
Disguise Artist:
- Upon investigation, appears as Ordinary Sound Ninja
Saboteur:
- [During Night Phase] No voting may occur the following day. (ONCE PER GAME)
Assassin:
- [During Night Phase] May kill one person (ONCE PER GAME)
- Following the use of this ability, if the Assassin participates in any votes it will say “The Assassin has been spoted”
Spy:
- [During Night Phase] May investigate
- If this ability is used 2 or more nights in a row, there is a 50% chance his role will be revealed the next morning.
Genjutsu Specialist:
- [During Night Phase] May select one person. For the next 4 nights, their role will come up incorrect if investigated (ONCE PER GAME)
The Hero:
- Treated as “Ordinary Sound Ninja” for the sake of special abilities. However, comes up as hero if researched or killed.
- Gains special abilities of killed Anbu members. Abilities that are once per game may not be used if already used by any player.

There will also be one hidden role. It is unknown which faction this role works for. One of the Anbu Captain's abilities is also hidden.


Finally, there are some roles that have the ability (Speaking Power). At the start of each day, there will be a brief message that each of these players sends me to post. However, it will be unknown who posted which message of the speaking roles. There may also be more speaking roles then currently known.

if he is then i'll probably be the one killed if i'm not dead already. in fact he's probably already suspecting me of being ANBU if he isn't one himself, in which case he will just act as if he were sound and have me voted off anyway. this is NOT an accusation

how funny would it be if the Right Hand killed the player the ANBU were voting to kill? lol

just realized that the Otokage does not have the power to pardon, are we to assume he still does and it was just forgotten to translate over?

The Kage does not have the pardon ability in this game. Also, the list of 40 people is accurate for players.
