Sasori VS Itachi- Who Would Win?

If for some reason, Sasori and Itachi where to fight who would win?

Oh God, not this...

This takes me back to the dark days of Naruto Forums and even right here on Bandai. We had a discussion like this once, about 2 years ago. Suffice to say it didn't end well. See, the thing is, Fanboys will be Fanboys and absolutely nothing anyone says will convince them to see the other side.

Sasori, having no real brain, cannot technically be affected by Genjutsu. His stamina and intelligence is top tier. Itachi's stamina is ****, despite having an impressive array of jutsu. It's pretty much impossible to say who would win because honestly it could go either way.

As for "LOLSusanoo", that doesn't work. Itachi would never use Susanoo unless it was an absolute last resort. This is In character, meaning no one ever uses their biggest and flashiest jutsu's first. They always save them to the end. By then end of this certain fight, Itachi could very well be dead or paralyzed from the poison, and Sasori could be a pile of Ash. You can't beat him unless you destroy the Chakra core. It would come down to a myriad of variables, including location, how much knowledge the other has on the opponent, etc, which could all easily tip the balance of the battle in the other's favor.

Safe to say, this is a bad thread and you should feel bad for making it, because it won't do anything but bring out the fanboy in everyone.

Me personally? I think Sasori would win, simply because Itachi doesn't have the stamina to keep up with him and all his puppets traps. He has zero knowledge of puppets and puppet manipulation (Chiyo). He doesn't have incredible brute strength (Sakura), and since Sasori isn't affected by Genjutsu, he loses the advantage the Sharingan gives him. By the time he could pull out something like Susanoo or Amaterasu, he might be out of chakra and unable to pull it off. 1 v 100, I like those odds. Your move.

I'm sorry sasori can't handle itachi. Itachi can read all his movements and can tell where his heart is. Thats basically the end of it. Itachi wouldn't even waste anytime.

no he's not. he just said susanoo, the end. sasori is badass. he's hella pro. but its kinda hard to be more pro than itachi. i mean like itachi or not, he pretty much set the standard for what is considered badass in the naruto-verse. the guy who set the standard before itachi? yeah his name is kakashi and he got KO'd by itachi looking at him. another super strong person? his name is orochimaru and itachi made a full powered oro <unlike the sickly in bed oro sasuke beat> wet his pants and quit akatsuki cuz itachi was too harcore for him.

sasori is amazing, he is probably the highest level shinobi you can achieve without some super power. itachi also attained that level + he has mangekyou, a super power.

as for "what makes you think he'll pop the jutsu before getting poisoned"

1)he's itachi mother ******* uchiha. the Chuck Norris of the naruto world

2)he is faster than sasori. simple as that
