Neji Hyuga vs. Asuma Sarutobi

Me and my friends have an argument the other day about Neji Hyuga how he is one of the worst Leaf Ninja even though he was Jonin. Then my friend said he cannot be since even Asuma Sarutobi was not named or listed there. I told him if they had a contest to fight, Asuma would give Neji the Flying Swallow and the Head Chop no Jutsu.

My friend said Neji is a genius, he has the byakugan (360 vision) there was no way Asuma can get pass that and rotation and air palms would set up Asuma to a bad position open to Gentle Fist leading to a 8 Trigram: 64 Palms.

I stated Asuma have more experience in battle and he would have advantage in battle because of that. He is also a master of using weapons. While he can force Neji to use rotation and when Neji uses rotation it causes him to use chakra and Asuma would eventually find an opening (with a blink of a second) he will give Neji the Flying Swallow, Weapon X and the Head Chop no Jutsu.

Then my other friend stated why are we even having this argument about Asuma, a whack dead jonin. He said Asuma is whack because he is now dead. I said at the time Asuma did not know about Hidan's ability and he attempted to kill Hidan with the Head Chop no Jutsu, but he was immortal and curse. Therefore killing him. I opposed the question if Neji fought Hidan he would have died to because he did not know his ability.

Let me know what you guys think on the board, who will win in the fight between Asuma and Neji. Please state the reason why and scenario.

lolwut?

It's Neji's win.

Neji looks like he would be amazing in taijutsu seeing him fight in episodes. Neji isn't forced to use rotation and he wouldn't use it for the lawls of it.

Asuma does have experience and it does have it's value but it could be overwhelmed still. He doesn't have any amazing jutsu so there's no trump card.

I can picture some fancy dodging and attacking but in the end, Neji wins. Prolly.

Without any anime BS or story shields or whatnot logically Asuma would win. He's well off compared to Neji.

The fight would simply go like this,

Asuma would realize that Hyugas are generally very close range fighters and would already come up with a type of attack that would simply just let him fight neji at far range.

For example: Burning Ash Jutsu shown in the story would be a key way of beating him.

When it comes down to it experience usually wins.

Tell this ^^^^ to Naruto...in the show and manga experience does not mean you win...or any where close to it...Neji has to many advantages...Byakugan, * Trigrams and all that comes with it, plus he is a born genius...that was proven when he taught himself the 64 Palms rotation technique, which was mentioned constantly at the beginning of the show and manga...Asuma could put up a good fight but Neji has this hands down...

at least thats my two cents...
