Scubadude knows all the insight about this since he does do the NSL and if my guess is right if Pein is going to be UNIQUE that means hes gonna a NEW element (Colorless) or something that he can be used as HC of any element and you can pay any element if he does have a HC for his card. If my guess is right then this is what the game needs a card or cards that you can use in any deck and since there are a total of 6 bodies with 6 different effects your gonna be at a buffet line with which PEIN you want to add in your deck.

Pain will not have satoosa because he is not just because he is a leader of the country does not mean nothing because Orochimaru is the leader of ther sound right.... he is not a satoosa

Deva Path: Water and Wind/Lightning

Naraka Path: Wind

Human Path: Earth

But then again that strays from the topics main ideal. Honestly I think he'll have: Akatsuki/Male/Satoosa/Mental Power: X (possibly 2-3 mental power)/Rin'negan Or so that is my assumption. I'm an active Pain fan so I hope Bandai doesn't botch them up or give them ridiculously stupid effects.

I had no idea Yahiko's jutsus were water based.

The reason why I say it should be Nagato: water, Konan: wind, and Yahiko: lighting is because it repeats the same pattern of teams that is important to story. Jiraiya, Tsunade, and Orochimaru are lightning, wind and water. Then we have Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke that are lighting, wind, and water. So it makes sense to repeat that pattern.

I did remember someone saying that they would be introducing a new element. I always thought it be nature though?

I dont have all the insight i just pry questions to get info to all the listeners. You all can find out all the info i do listen to the show lol. But ya thats why i dont know why everyone is speculating on pain when he is already been partially planned out already.

Gameplay and Sticking to the show are two different things. Gameplay wise it would be better to have them all lightning, that way it works with the original plan of having two akatsuki members of each element. But it can still stick to the show by having each of the bodies be another element as well. Such as Yahiko being Lightning/Water.

Both can work but if they make the main pain body anything other than Lightning/Water and Nagato anything other than Lightning, they break what they had been working up to for a while.

thats basically what i meant, to dual element is the main point
like how everyone on here said overand over "hidan will be lightning" but to make him better playability as well as having him fit 1 of the 2 main "akatsuki" elements, they made him fire/lightning (side note, i wish lightning had been listed first, a hidan with lightning background woulda looked so cool)

so i figure all the pein's bodies would be dual no matter what.
and to relate, konan will be wind/XXX (with XXX being pains main element) this way she sticks with the female majorit wind, but can also be in a pein themed deck

it would make total sense to, even more so if yahiko (the "sasuke") were water/fire, as to be both of sasuke's main element!

Well I don't see the insight to this. Since how Konan, Yahiko, and Nagato weren't technically the Sannin's CHOSEN! So making them lightning period is not a smart idea. RAIN VILLAGE has been water and wind based. And I don't count Tatsuji cause he was dual village >.> But look at Aoi's Genin Team, Aoi, and Shigure's team. Water + Wind. If anything it'd look like this: Nagato would be this NEW ELEMENT people are speaking about, Konan wind cause of her paper jutsu's, and Yahiko would be water based.

Then we are speculating on what they have planned for him (which is still unknown to us). So we change the thread from being I wonder what the pain cards will be like to I wonder what bandai has already planned for the pain cards. Not much difference Imo.
