Client cards

C-052: Lady Haruna (updated 6/2/2010)

Effect Errata - "Mission cards in your Chakra area are considered to be 1 or 2 Chakras with a Lightning Symbol for the payment of card cost and effects."

Ex: The card owner decides the value of the Chakra upon payment.

Ninja cards

N-709 : Kakashi Hatake (Boyhood)

> The name of the Jutsu card must be exactly “Chidori”.


N-710 : Rin

> This card’s effect applies to any Ninja card that includes the noted names (i.e., Platoons, Squads, etc.).


N-711 : Obito Uchiha

> This card’s effect applies to any Ninja card that includes the noted names (i.e., Platoons, Squads, etc.).


N-718 : Orochimaru (Childhood)

Any Hand cost, of Mission cards played by your opponent, are discarded.
Your opponent’s non-Permanent Mission cards are discarded after their effect is applied.
Your opponent’s Permanent Mission cards are discarded if they are removed from play.


N-730 : Shikamaru Nara & Kakashi Hatake

> The Mission is not considered to be ‘played’, but simply ‘put in play’. The effect circumvents the usual process of playing & Chaining to the play of a Mission card.

> Effects that have a target of “1 Mission card being played” have no Timing since the Mission is not ‘played’.

> Effects that prevent a player from ‘playing’ a Mission have no effect on N-730, since no Mission card is being ‘played’.


N-751 : Rock Lee & Neji Hyuga

> Even if there are no cards returned to the Deck, the player will still shuffle their Deck.


N-752 : Ino Yamanaka

> This card's effect will prevent the opponent's effect that allows them to look, reveal, or do anything to the cards in the hand.


N-753 : Ziga

> The “In that case,” effect can occur multiple times during the Exchange of Jutsu.


N-754 : Ruiga

> If the card from the top of the Deck meets the condition then the Deck is shuffled. If not, the card is returned, but the Deck is not shuffled.


N-783 : Suiko

> This card’s effect can be activated after the opponent finishes playing a Mission card. This card’s effect will go on the same Chain as that Mission that was played.



Mission cards

M-590 : Recollection

> The player can move the cards to the bottom of the Deck in any order they wish.


M-594 : A Snake Hiding in the Dark

Permanent (3)
During your Mission Phase, you can reveal the top 2 cards of your Deck. If either or both of them have a Water Symbol, you can move one of them to your Chakra area and return the other to the top of the Deck. If not, or you decide not to, return them. In either case, shuffle your Deck.

> Only 1 of the cards are moved to the Chakra area, and the other (if it is another “Water” card) is returned to the top of the Deck, then the Deck is shuffled.


M-595 : Infiltration

Effect: Reveal up to 7 cards from the top of your opponent’s Deck and look at all the cards in your opponent’s hand. If there are 1 or more cards in common, select 1 of them and discard all the cards that have the same name as the selected card. Then, return the rest of the revealed cards and your opponent shuffles it.

> Only the ‘revealed’ cards are returned to the Deck. The remaining cards (if there is any) that were in the player’s hand, are returned to that player’s hand.

> This is not a search effect.

> You choose a card name only if there is at least 1 card in the hand and at least 1 card among the revealed cards with the same name or Name:X.


> If an effect prevents cards in the player’s hand from being affected by Mission card effects, then this effect will resolve with only cards from the top of the deck being revealed, but not the cards in the players hand so you will not be able to name a card that is in common since you will not be able to see the players hand, so the effect will not succeed at discarding any cards.


M-599 : Retreat

> This does cause your Team to be a Stand-By Ninja.


M-600 : Fire Temple

> “1 or more” indicates that multiple Ninjas were put in play due to a single card effect. The effect will activate for every effect that puts 1 or more Ninja in play, or for each occurrence of a Ninja being put in play (i.e., Growth, Platoon, etc.).


M-615 : Imaginary Monster

Permanent (2)
Effect: If you have “Ya***o Kurama” and/or “Uroko” in play, this Mission card becomes a Ninja card that has the following:
* Entrance cost of 3 and Hand cost of 1
* No characteristics and effect texts
* 4/4 (healthy status) 3/3 (injured status) “Genjutsu”
Combat Attribute

> This Mission card can be put in play even if the noted Ninjas are not in play. If so, when either of the Ninjas noted are put in play, the Mission will become a Ninja card as noted.

> Once the Mission becomes a Ninja, it will remain a Ninja as noted until this Mission is removed from play, even if the noted Ninjas are removed from play.

> While a Ninja card, this card is still considered to be a Mission card.


M-616 : Last Message

> This card’s effect does not become part of the Ninja card’s effect texts. Therefore, it cannot be negated, moved or copied as such.

> If this card is moved to another Ninja, then that Ninja becomes the ‘target’.

> The target does not need to remain in injured status while this Mission is attached. The target only need to be injured when the Mission is played, and when its effect is applied.

> If this Mission is ‘put in play’ via another effect, it will check the target for ‘injured status’ at that time.


M-617 : Efficient Training

> If a player puts another Ninja card in play, this card’s effect only checks that it has “Clone Status”, and will ignore the uniqueness rule as it pertains to any name on that Ninja card.

> This card’s effect applies to any Ninja card, including Platoons, Squads, etc.


M-618 : Determination of Men

> The effects that are applied “At the end of this turn” will be applied whether or not the Ninja was sent out to Battle.


M-621 : Fierce Ambition

Permanent
Effect: All of your “Akatsuki” Ninja cards get the following effect texts:
“When this Ninja is put in play, draw 1 card. During the turn that this Ninja is put in play, if this Ninja’s Team wins a Victory or an Outstanding Victory, you win 1 Battle Reward.”



Jutsu cards

J-611 : Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu

Requirements: “Jonin” or higher rank + “Printed Entrance cost of 4 or more”


J-618 : Sharingan of Tears

> When the user is removed from play, the attached card will be discarded.

> The attached Ninja card’s effect texts become part of the target. Therefore, they can be negated, moved or copied.

> Since Characteristics such as “Surge” and “Mastery” are considered to be effect texts as well, those effect texts are also given to the target, although the target will not gain those Characteristics.


J-619 : Change in Chakra Form

> “Specific cost” is defined as each Symbol in the Jutsu cost line.

> Effects that state that the cards discarded for “X” must be of a specific Symbol, are not affected by this card’s effect since “X” is not a cost.

> If an effect forces you to discard or move 2 Chakra, this card in your Chakra area can be discarded or moved for both.

> While in the Chakra area, this Jutsu card is considered to have only 1 Symbol, although that Symbol is considered to be any Symbol. But when it is discarded or moved as 2 Chakra, then the player determines the Symbols on each of those Chakras at that time.


J-625 : Rasengan

Requirements: "Naruto Uzumaki" + "Clone Status" or "Jiraiya" or "The Fourth Hokage"

Target: Every Ninja in up to 2 of your opponent's Battling Teams

Effect: Flip a Ninja Blade coin X times. Then, give 1 Damage to the target for each heads.
