I think Kakashi would win because Dedeira beat Gaara and Kakashi technically beat Dedeira.

kamui, as far as we know, can only create a warped dimensional hole thing where he can see. gaara can put his sand in front of him and protect from kamui. gaara can also attack from above by levitating on his sand. kakashi has close and midranged jutsu but we haven't seen any long range accept kamui. gaara can also turn the terrain into a weapon meaning kakashi cant truely avoid an attack

-he can't hide above
-if he hides underground he'd be crushed
-gaara can pretty much wall him in with sand so no escaping off to the sides


as much as i think kakashi is better than gaara, i don't think he can beat him

their battles with deidara are moot

for starters deidara was unprepared against both opponents. secondly deidara was holding back against gaara <not allowed to kill him>. next, you can hardly say that kakashi and deidara fought. also, and most importantly, just because A lost to C and B beat C doesnt mean B can beat A thats just not how the naruto world works generally

Gaara would win that fight. Yes, Kakashi is strong in many ways but Gaara is just that much stronger. Besides if I have understood it right, Kakashi can't copy Gaara's sand jutsus or any similar jutsus at that matter.

well i think kakashi would win because of his new lightining tiger that could go thorugh sand and he could use wind jutsu's to move sand which he learned with his sharingan

im not even sure ide even call gaara stronger...i think its just a bad match up. its a guy with incredible range and area of attack that can fight in the air, where the opponent can't get to, and has amazing defenses

i hope that lightning tiger thing can jump really really high

and he's never once been shown to use a wind jutsu. and we've never even seen a wind jutsu that could move that much sand and do it a fair distance away. even with great breakthrough, it didn't really tear up the ground, and gaara can hold onto that sand pretty tightly

you want kakashi to win, and so do I. and its not impossible. it just seems highly unlikely. the only attack we've seen out of him that could reach gaara in the air is kamui, which the sand blocks...most likely

Simple. Kakashi use Fire jutsu and turns Gaar'a sand to glass. Seriously though, I'd give this one to Gaara. As hahon said, it is a bad match up.

thats what sasuke should have done!!! it might have motivated gaara to learn to control the glass to create glass style jutsu hahahah
