Ah... the Fuma... I still have my old Fuma deck I made... words cannot describe how bad it is...

Couple things I've always thought should be included were...

Kagero, and most likely Arashi, should have Jonin... this was stated in the anime... of course at the time of the filler the clan had fallen into disarray, but Zabuza still maintained his Jonin rank despite being a rogue ninja, didn't he...? If they did have Jonin, that might give you some more flexibility with the jutsus...

Also, I think the alternate forms of Kagero and Arashi should have different names; something like Kagero (True Form) and Arashi Fuma (Casualty Puppet) respectively... there's nothing sillier than having 2 different Kageros (that require each other no less) and only having 3 slots for them...

Also, is the second Arashi you made supposed to be a squad of him, Kamakiri, and Jigumo...? Obviously his name doesn't imply that, but he has Squad under his characteristics, so I'm not really sure what's going on there...

Lastly, where's Sasame...?

If they did have Jonin, that might give you some more flexibility with the jutsus... I didn't see the fillers, I just based myself on the older cards. But If they had Jonin, then perfect. PS: Instead of making another female Kagero, I'll change the original name of the first one and make his 2nd effect give Kagero Jonin

Also, I think the alternate forms of Kagero and Arashi should have different names; something like Kagero (True Form) and Arashi Fuma (Casualty Puppet) respectively... there's nothing sillier than having 2 different Kageros (that require each other no less) and only having 3 slots for them...

Like I said up there, I'll change the name of the First Kagero.

Also, is the second Arashi you made supposed to be a squad of him, Kamakiri, and Jigumo...? Obviously his name doesn't imply that, but he has Squad under his characteristics, so I'm not really sure what's going on there...

It's just mainly for flavor purposes, by making it seems like it's Arashi's mind, but fused with the other 2. But yes, it's like an alternate squad thing. But since the first 3 man squad came out and it had all 3 names on them I guess its clearer your way.

Lastly, where's Sasame...?

The idea of making the Fuma in the first place was to make Sasame playable. I love that Sasame. XD
I'm making a new type of cards right now!!

After an moment of inspiration, here comes the new Disciple Cards!!!

Disciple- Disciple Cards go in the Reinforcement Deck. In order to put them into play, you must do the following things.

Remove a Ninja in play with the same name as the Disciple Card from the game and a Ninja with the same name as the Master of that card in the parenthesis after the Disciple characteristic.

Discard 2 Chakras and pay any of the Hand Costs and the Entrance Cost must be met.

Here's an example card:
__________________________________________________ ____________________________
Naruto Uzumaki // Lightning

EC 5 HC 1

Leaf/Male/Genin/Sage Mode/Clone Status/Disciple (Master: Fu-kasaku)

[Sage Mode Unleashed!!]

Valid: Your opponent cannot discard, return or send cards from your Village, hand, Chakra Area or Battle Reward Area to your hand, deck, Chakra Area or his Battle Reward Area.

Valid: When this Ninja is sent out to attack, it must be blocked, if possible.

6/0 8/0

Super Rare

Sasuke Uchiha // Water/Fire

EC 5 HC 1

Sound/Male/(Jonin)/Sharingan Eye/Disciple (Master: Orochimaru)

[Result of the Training]

Valid: When this Ninja is put into play, remove 1 of your opponent's Ninjas with Entrance Cost 1 or less from the game.

Valid: When this Ninja is put into play, discard 1 of your opponent's Ninjas with Entrance Cost 2 or less.

Valid: When this Ninja is put into play, injure 1 Ninja with Entrance Cost 3 or more.

7/3 3/1

Super Rare

Too busted the Disciple Cards? I thought they were viable. Higher EC? HC perhaps? Although having to pay 1 HC + the Master is already pretty harsh

I suppose my issue with the disciple cards is that they are very similar mechanically to squads...

You ditch two specific Ninja to bring out one super powered one... sure there are differences, but I think they are too fundamentally similar...

Not to mention the weirdness that in both these cases the "disciple" could beat the crap out of the masters...

You are totally right. I went to Yugioh there. Let me see if I can find a card type to include in the Reinforcement deck. O_o Rank S Missions!! Get ready!!

Rank S Missions, Jutsus and Clients.

They are placed in your Reinforcement Deck and you can play them from there when specific things happen during the game. In order to play these cards you have to discard X cards from the top of your deck and X cards from your chakra area, depending on their cost. I'll make a good first example (needs a new template of course...... maybe a red one.)

Kirin /// Fire/Water

Rank S Jutsu

2 Chakra and 10 cards from the top of your deck.

Requirements: 1 Sasuke Uchiha that used the Jutsu card Fire Style: Great Dragon Fire during this turn.

Target: 1 Ninja

Effect: Put the target in your Battle Reward Area. Then search your opponent's hand, deck, discard pile and/or Chakra area for all cards that have instances of the target's name and rank in their Name or Effect Text and put them in your Battle Reward Area.

PS: My imagination tanks are on Empty......... but I think this is a cool example I guess.

Whenever you are searching your deck, you may put into play this Ninja from your deck and place it on any of your teams in any position. (Entrance Cost and Hand Cost must be paid.)

Valid: During the Exchange of Jutsu, if this Ninja is in Injured Status, you may place it on any of your battling teams in any position.

I actually really really like this card. It was the one that stuck out most from all the others. The flavor behind it is awesome, and this design direction never came to mind, though it did get used on a fatty wurm in MtG. Is that by chance where the idea came from?
