Mental Power Format
Thought of this while making a Mental deck, so here it is:
Rules (Other Rules in Naruto Are Appiled As The Normal Rules): Only Ninjas with +1 Mental Power or more can be played (This includes platoons and squads). Up to 35 Ninjas per Deck. Instead of Team Power battles, Ninjas fight in Mental Power battles. Only 2 or less Ninjas per Team. Up to 5 Teams can be sent out at once. Growth coins give +1 Mental Power instead of +1/+1. Ban List: Shikamaru Nara [Flexibility] Shikamaru Nara & Temari [Strong-Arm Tactics] No Power of Observation This format is going to be much more playable once FP comes out, with some of the new Mental Power Ninjas. Tell me if you think I need to add anything or change anything. |

I like this format.
I'm guessing -X/-X coins give -X Mental Power? |

Yes, coins that give -X/-X give -X Mental Power, but card effects that give -X/-X or +X/+X don't affect the MP.
It's only Ninjas with 1 or more Mental Power, but maybe I'll change it, just cause. ![]() I thought about that, but since it only lasts 2 turns, that player can use it as a stall to help them hit curve. |

Wait, does MP earn BRs? Like 5+ MP = 2 Brs and 4-0 MP = 1 Br?
Or is it normal? I think normal is WAY better for the game because Shika + Sakura = 2 BRs with 7 MP on Turn 1... |

is it uncommon to earn two BR's on turn one?

In regular play?
I've got Sasuke 4/2, and any other ninja with 1 support will take 2 brs by turn 1. Works with choji [i]/[SotP] and Shika Form/flex |
