This is an EDH format for post rotation. It's only set 19 and up, and your commander can be a squad. Other than that, it's all the same rules. And it's always the sets that just rotated, so when 22 rotates, this format wil be 22 and up. You like?

A lot of Squads are all ridiculously overpowered to be cards that can just be flipped into play on their proper turn.

Also, it literally cuts down the pool of players Village Leaders from 63 to 20. Doesn't sound very fun to me.
