So what your basically saying is that people have to waste time and money to go to an event that isn't going to guarantee to have enough of the new set for all the players, just to find out what set your going to give as prizing?

Bandai has given you enough FR boxes, your 1k proved it by saying you'll give the whole FR set, including all the SRs and the only way you could do that is by opening all the FR boxes bandai had given you till you got all the cards. So you deprived players from buying packs of the new set or telling them you didn't have it just to open them for the 1k event.

You as the owner should know wether or not you have enough of a certain set for players, not telling them to go and say that your giving them something different once they arrive, not everyone lives close to your store, some of us live hours away, and your telling us to go to your store on that day, just to find out what set were getting as prizes without a guarantee?

And to play the Devil's Advocate here, he may not have gotten his Chunnin Prizing yet. So if I were you I wouldn't flame someone without having all the facts.

That being said, it would be nice if we could get some kind of guarentee that those who top the chunnin will be getting FR and not ANC.

We have an ample supply of FR; however, without having a exact number of attendance, we will not "guarantee" anything. As for the kit, we have not yet received our kit so we do not know what is included (which is why we can not make any guarantees.) The only thing we've guaranteed is the quantity of product you will be receiving.

Entirely untrue. First off, some of the prizing for the Chunin is sponsored by Bandai and we are not aware of any of the content of the kit. If the kit consist of Path of Hokage, we are not going to guarantee you FR and be required to swap it with our stock.

As for the 1k, Bandai did not GIVE US ANYTHING as far as FR is concerned. All the product which was sent to use was used for prizing, including the products sent for judges, which I could have kept if I so chose.

We purchased (at a premium price) all the boxes we have of FR. The full set of FR was an arrangement we had made, prior to the event and thought it would be a good gesture to purchase the set and provide it as a prize, but I see even that is used against us because of immature assumptions. I'll keep that in mind when we schedule future events and think about spending money on such prizing.

so is fr going to be given at this chunin or not?it would really suck driving all the way just to get packs chronicle(which has lost all of it's best cards to the rogue list). Also, for the chunin person holding the event, can you clarify your argument. It might be just me, but whether fr is given or not depends on attendance right. And I also believe you said that you have an ample supply(which probably means a good amount but not a huge amount) of fr right. If attendance matters so much, is there a minimum and maximum number of people that can attend in order for fr to be given? Getting a really low number is never what a venue wants, but wouldn't too many people, which is usually preferable than a small amount due to $, etc. be bad as well in this situation since an ample amount seems ambiguous to us. Too many people would mean not everyone would get fr, which doesn't seem very fair, and a low amount isn't fair for you because you bought a big amount of fr just to give a few packs away. To simply clarify all of this, can the chunin venue owner simply give us a better estimate of how many fr packs they have?

First off, let's clarify one thing, the definition of guarantee:

A guarantee is an assurance for the fulfillment of a condition: as a: an agreement by which one person undertakes to secure another in the possession or enjoyment of something b: an assurance of the quality of or of the length of use to be expected from a product offered for sale often with a promise of reimbursement.


Now if I sit here and guarantee that the prizing will consist solely of Fateful Reunion, then I am stating that if a 1000 people attend (not that it's expected or even a close estimate, but it's to make a point), we will have to provide each one Fateful reunion as prizing. Which also means that if the kit provided to us for the chunin exam does not contain Fateful Reunion, the guarantee would require the event organizers to substitute that product with Fateful Reunion. Because the possibility of the above scenario occurring exists, I will not guarantee anything except that we'll do our best to make sure that this is an Njoyable event for everyone in attendance, and that the prize distribution is as we had described it above, assuming we receive the kits on time.

The only reason I'm doing this is that you've "flamed" every single one of our event postings and have not showed up to the events, for reasons which are none of our business.
