Radio stations usually do tell you when their going to do contests.

actually, the only other podcast i listen to (monday night magic) does it.

Tylar, I never even asked josh to do this. The only thing I said in the matter was quoted on the first page, that its time consuming and i wouldnt have a problem if the listeners post markers for others in the thread.

josh, i appreciate the attempt to give us a hand, but this is something you should ask us about before jumping into.

I think its a bad idea. I like listening to the whole podcast.

Doing this would be beneficial in the long run. It would encourage people to listen to older podcasts. Sometimes I want to go back and remember a card from an older podcast but I don't cause it's too much a hassle. I first have to find the correct podcast, and then shuffle around to find where a preview is or a certain discussion is. Preview moochers will still be moochers regardless of whether there is a marker scribe or not.

Umm, would the marker scribe prevent you from listening to the whole podcast?
