Few questions I need answered...

Okay, so I ran my first tournament using the software yesterday. I got through it alright, but thankfully it was a tournament with a small turnout. So yeah, here's some questions I have:

First off, for some reason my Venue is not approved. Mind you, I have two venues I run at, and while one of them is listed as an approved venue, the place I ran it at yesterday is not. So really, my main question is how long does it take for a venue to be approved? Also, why was it not transfeerred over like my other venue was?

Okay, second question, and it may seem confusing. At first, I used the softwares automatic pairing system. Since there were only 5 people yesterday, that means there was a bye for each round. First round went good, then came the second round. It paired the person who won the first round bye (call him player A) with someone who lost their first round (player b). We'll call the person who got the second round bye Player C. So, Player A and Player B played the second round, with Player B winning.

So, I move on too round three, and for some reason, it said Player C received the bye yet again. So I change it up to manual pairings, and guess what? The player who received the bye that round doesn't appear in my players list when I split up the tables! So yeah, I had no idea what to do, so I had to go back, ERASE the second round results, and paired it up how I normally would have if using pencil and paper. Luckily, my players were fine with this, they had no problem playing an extra round, but even still, they shouldn't have had to. Anyway, the actual question is how do I get players with a bye to show up in the manual pairings screen? Also, why does it allow people who already received a bye to get ANOTHER one next round?

I have more questions, but these are the two most important ones for the moment. I'll continue to manually pair rounds for now, but my store hosts Chunins every quarter too, and sometimes have rather large turnouts, and it'll be a major pain if I have to manually pair them too.

Approvals usually Occur In 1 Business Day So If the Venue was submitted on a weekend you would have to wait at least till the coming monday

This is possible as it tries to give a bye to the player with the least amount of wins and when there are few players it is possible that the same player gets the bye but you can change that in the manual pairings

Manual Pairings only displays players who have not been given a win or loss for the round yet, to display the bye player in the manual pairings simply select his match and change it to unreported then he will be shown in the manual pairings page

Let me know if this solves all your problems

Cool, most of that helps, except the final thing. It nevers SHOWS which match the bye player is in, on the manual pairings page. When you click next round from the main interface, it automatically pairs players. I then click on manual pairings, and it takes me to the manual pairings page. There, it shows only the players who were auto paired, and even when I click split to break the pairings apart, the BYE player still doesn't show up...

But hey, I do appreciate you getting back to me on this, the speedy responses are making me worry a lot less. Like I somewhere else, it doesn't SEEM like it'd be that bad of a program, just we Meijins have to figure everything out properly.

There is a check box on the pairings display "Show Unreported Only" if you uncheck that box you will see who has the bye
