an outcasts dream m-002 & rasengan j-377

if i have the mission an outcasts dream (# 002) in play then use rasengan(#377) and kill the first ninja then give 1 damage to a second ninja which is healthy will i get 1 or 2 +1/+1 counters and if i instead use the second damage to kill another injured ninja will that matter towards whether i get 1 or 2 counters
