N-415 and other ninja chains.

Alright this one can get a bit confusing.

Team A: N-us122 Naruto(oc)/N-415 Sasuke
Team B: Any kakashi/any ninja/any ninja

Team B, swings, I block with team A. Team B passes jutsu play. I have 3 cards in hand and I play shadow clone J-us001, now i have 2 cards in hand. My opponent plays sharingan eye J-007. I respond with N-415's effect. My opponent plays another J-007. Now I remember reading that ninja effects do not resolve until it successfully goes off so can I then chain with another J-us001 meaning i now only have 1 card in my hand? If so then what happens to N-415's effect, does it fail? Do i still have to discard the 1 card in my hand?

It would mean that the effect of N-415 would fail because you do not have the 2 cards needed to activate the effect.
