If I send out N-281 to battle and my opponent has no chakra for me to take, can i still get back my 1 chakra or does my opponent has to have at least 1 chakra for me to get back 1?

You must select and discard 1 of your opponent's chakra in order to move 1 of the cards in your discard pile to your chakra area.
