Naruto Uzumaki N-US122 interacting ruling with Changes in Pairings M-144

so, with the ino ruling as it is, I have a question about how Naruto N-US122 would interact with changes in pairings M-144:

in the following hypothetical, I have naruto N-US122 and Temari N-270. My opponent activates M-144 and target's temari, therefore making that team unable to be sent to battle, thereby effecting N-US122.

is that legal? or does the naruto escape and goes out to battle anyway?

I understand that with HN not doing these anymore, it will take time. But I have time, so I'll just bump it until I get an answer.
