Was just wondering bout the clarification of his effect.
During the EoJ,you can discard 1 card w/a Lightning symbol from your hand. In that case,this ninja gets +3/+0 during the turn.However,if this ninja wins a victory during the turn,discard this ninja at the end of the turn. The bold part I need help with,does he get discarded if he uses the effect and gets a victory or does he get discarded regardless?

N-346 Rock Lee only gets discarded if he uses his effect and wins a victory against an opposing team of ninjas.

If he uses his effect and is unblocked or wins an outstanding victory, then he will not be discarded. Also, if he doesn't use his effect, then he won't be discarded.
