Ninja Effects:

Even if a team together is completely unaffected by ninja effects then can a opposing team's effect put it into a mental power that is triggered by a opposing ninjas effect? And if so HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?

if an effect changes a Team's Battle to Mental, or back to a normal Battle, the effect is affecting the Battle type.

Ok:

Ok, but It is still a ninja effect that triggers this effect. Thus Stating the obvious it is a ninja effect. So how is it affecting a team that is unaffected by ninja effects? See these rulings are confusing, just because it changes the battle type makes no sense it is still a ninja effect that applies this. RAH!!! But I get it.

because the effect affects the Battle.

if what you wish were true, then in a way, one Team would be in a Mental Battle, and the other would be in a normal Battle.

that cannot occur, so the ruling is such that it affects the Battle and not any Ninja.
