Question on Head Ninja's and Opponent effects:

Ok is a head Ninja determined only when a team is sent out to battle and you select a head ninja for that team or is a head ninja present when teams are sent out to battle and still formed in the village and remain like that till your next organization Phase?

In English, Is a Head Ninja only determined in battle?

Or Battle and Being in the Village till your next organization Phase?

Also when I play caged bird on a ninja that says unaffected by your opponents effects, I was under the impression that because the Mission is then controlled by the opposing player that was hit by it, that the effect worked.

per the Rulebook, when you send out a Team to Battle, you choose the Head Ninja at that time.

when the Ninjas Return to the Village, all designations are dropped until they are sent out to Battle again.

the ruling was changed due to the way text is presented on the card.

since part of the effect is "Attach this card to the target." and the Ninja is unaffected by effects, then you cannot attach the card. since you cannot attach the card, the rest of the effect fails, and the Mission is sent to the Chakra area.
