But the internet provides multiple places to find them you just need to know how. While your searching be very descriptive in your searches and make sure you know what it means. After you get the picture you want get it to the biggest setting the site you are using lets you. Then your gonna want to “Right Click” on the image and click “save image as.” There you are now ready to make your card. 2.)The making of... This is the part of the thread where I get into major detail on how to make your own cards. If something is unclear or you cant make any idea on it you can AIM me at Fattyboifresh or Pm me on this site. Ok well to start off open your picture the one you just saved. Now that its open your gonna want to make it a layer to do this look at the bottom right hand corner of the screen there should be a box that says Layers/Channels/Paths go to layers if your not there yet. You should see a very small version of your card well double click that and a window should pop up names “New Layer” just hit ok and your picture is now a layer. To cut your picture out go to the thin box the runs down the left side the fourth item from the blue box that says PS hit make sure its on Magic wand tool and not Quick selection tool if it is on the Quick selection then click on it and hold it for a few seconds a mini window will pop up to the right of it and choose Magic want tool. Ok now to cut out your image you should have the magic wand tool on Click the parts of the image you don’t want and hit the backspace on your keyboard...hopefully it disappeared if not make sure your on the right tool. Ok once you got rid of every thing you don’t want the background should look like a dull checkers board. That’s good now go to open once again and open a card template that you want if you cant find the templates here’s a link to ones I find are really good [url]http://www.bandaicg.com/naruto/showthread.php?t=56381[/url] If you open the template and your image disappeared go to the very bottom of the list of tools, hold it down until a semi window pops up your gonna want to hit Standard Screen Mode so you can see every thing you can do this to if you open the image by hitting the maximize button on the top of it. Ok this step should be repeated if your image is the wrong size for the card you want. You gonna go to your image and go to the top and hit “image” then go to image size and estimate the size you think should fit usually 300-375 works for me but if it doesn’t for you fool around with it until it does. To copy and paste something your gonna need the Rectangle Marquee Tool this should be the very second tool from the top. Use this tool and make it go over your WHOLE image. Once you have done this hit the Ctrl + C on your keyboard. Now you want to go to your card “Template” and hit ctrl + v Your image should appear on your card now adjust it to the right spot on the card. To fade your image use the Rectangle Marquee Tool and highlight the part of the card you want to fade and go to “Image” > Adjustments > Exposure once you’re here make the offset .25 and the Gamma Correction between 2,5-3 and leave the exposure at 0. Once all this is done you can add the White outline do do this heres what to do provided by:Shino’s Dad 1) Select the layer you want to put the border on 2) Go to Layer up at the top of the screen 3) choose Layer Style > Outer Glow Structure 4) Choose Blend Mode: Screen 5) Skip Noise, beneath that, select the bubble to the right 6) Click the box next to the bubble 7) choose the black to white preset selection 8) move the white marker under the shaded box it shows as far left as possible, so the whole thing is white. Click OK Elements 9) Skip Technique for now 10) Spread should be 0% 11) Size can vary between 1 or 2, whichever looks better. 12) Go back and pick Precise or Soft for Technique, whichever looks better for the pic, as some will look better in different ways. Click OK. Once this is done your are ready for section 3. 3.)The Details! Ok this is where I tell you how to make the card look good! Make shure your card template is 350 x 490 otherwise youll have to resize the card you getting every thing from. Ok well take the card you making and find the card that has the same name as your if not then VSA has given us letters to use to do this: [url]http://www.bandaicg.com/naruto/showthread.php?p=752325#post752325[/url] Post number 49 has what im talking about. Ok well to splice the name go to the Rectangle Marquee Tool and highlight the name on the card Bandai made. Then hit Ctrl + C to copy and Ctrl + V to paste. The name should be visible on the card you your making if not then another layer is in the may to move layers go to the Layers spot in the bottom right hand corner hit the layer with the name and hold in and move it up using your mouse. Once it’s the first layer you should see it. Now your gonna want to erase around it as best you can. Repeat the step above for the Characteristics. For the turn and hand cost go to the 3 tool from the top and the Lasso tool probably if it is then hold it down until the sub window pops up then go to the “Polygonal Lasso tool” Now go to the card with the entrance cost and Turn costs you want and cut them out using this tool the Ctrl + C and then Ctrl + V on the card your making. So far it seams easier than you thought that’s because IT IS! Ok for the stats stay on the “Polygonal Lasso tool” and cut out the Stats or you can go to VSA’s post again [url]http://www.bandaicg.com/naruto/showthread.php?p=752325#post752325[/url] and take them from that. Once you have all this done pasted and put on the card in the right spot got to step 4. (If you cant move something to the spot the right way you might want to try to ZOOM in and try it.) 4.)The affect/Text Ok here is how you put the affect on and what not the size you use for the text all depends on the card size if its 350 x 490 7-8 should work. Ok go to the tool selection again but this time go to the 16th one from the top it should be a SOLID black “T” click it and make a box big enough to hold what your typing you can choose from an aray of fonts I use “Tahoma” For the affect name make sure it’s a black color and its BOLD and just type in your affect. Once your done go to the first tool from the top the “Move tool” and just click the card you now have a T layer. For the affect Valid is BOLD but the rest is regular and try to make it a .2-.5 size difference. There you now have text on the card if you want to put flavor text make it a white color and do the same thing you did above but BOLD it. To make it stand out more you can add a shadow to do this Dubble click the T layer you want to shadow in the bottom right hand corner Layer part a window should pop up go to Drop shadow and hit the name not the box the numbers you should type in are as follows but make sure it’s a black colored shadow. Opacity = 100 Distance = 1 Size = 1 there it should pop out on the card a little better but hit Ok first. Go to step 5 for the rest! 5.)The rest/Ending!!!! Ok here it is the last part of making a card! Well for rarity and card number just splice it out like you did you the name you can do the same with pack symbols or make your own it doesn’t really matter. To finish up Save it as a PSD file then a BMP. File so you can upload it. Good Luck all you card makers.
