That's how I do it in GIMP and I'm sure Photoshop uses the same thing.

Make a new layer for each part of the image, then you can drag the layers around and get them to stack how you want them to.

DBZNarutoFreak, I'm sure you seen some of the stuff I created on PlayTCG (sigs and other pictures). It was all done by playing with layers.
I've been playing layers, I just don't know how to make things transparent like tarman said.

If you had GIMP, I would be more helpful than this.

I know that in the GIMP Layers dialog box, there is a slider for "Opacity," which is just another word for Transparency. If there is something similar, that would be the ticket. Just move it to the left/lower the percentage to make the section more transparent.

When you do a new image, click the "Advanced Options" button.

Here's how I have my defaults set:

If you're wondering why my default size is 2500x500, it's because when I usually make an image/sig/whatever, I create it 5 times the desired size and shrink it down. It's a ton easier to work on fine details that way, just make sure your computer can handle it.

And I doubt someone has built temples dedicated to the new cards. They might be working on templates, though.
