Artwork on the cards...

What does everyone think of the art on the cards. In my opinion- they're pretty good...except the white lines around the characters- something about it doesn't feel right. I like the way they did the characters better than the Japanese- except for those white lines.

Is it meant to look like their jumping out of the page? It looks like someone cut them out and left the edges.

maybe someone in the next set will remove them, so i don't have to color them in. that would be nice.

You can't even notice the white line when you are holding the cards!!

But the artwork is beautiful...

When you have the card phisically in your hand, you cannot notice the outline!!

I really like the artwork of the Kakashi card.
I can notice the white outlining of the card though.

i can notice it when i hold the, for just passing glance it isnt t hat noticeable, and its morely do the character doesnt blend into the background the card...

I don't like the lightning background...

Lightning is shameful, I don't even want to think about it....

The color seems to be off at least in some scans I've seen.

The acctual artwork of the anime is of course nice, but the format for the US cards has issues....

It looks like someone cut them out and left the edges.

Yea, like a cut out from the back of a cerial box.
What would make them pop out is when the art overlaps the boarders(that are now so big its not even funny....)

Also, I don't like the fancy designs behind the kanji at the top of the card, nor the flavor text on the image that ditracts from the appearnce and stupidity 'pops out' with such folly.

I do not like how they zoomed in on the ninja cards, or croped the Jutsu and tactic cards. It is not overly detremental but it says ALOT about Bandai....
