I agree with reddragondecease. Lord of the Land of Wind is useful for the dual chakra (i.e. Puppet decks), and is already a threat if used correctly. You can growth the turn 4 Gaara on turn 0. That needs a lot of luck, but with the Shukaku support cards, it should be easy to pull off on turn 1. Then, put in some easy chakra, and insta-pwnt! So, since I got a little off track, I'll say it again. Lord of the Land of Wind is still useful.

And I think that the young Sannin do have growth, but would you want to? They have slightly worse stats than the oolder versions, so I suupose theri effects would come into play more for that use.

No, because Shukaku's effect is that he can only be put into play by Sand Cocoon, so that doesn't work.
