I kind of agree that Shika has ruin a bunch of cards, but Gaara TN is the real reason people run him. Either Gaara gets negated or he's forced to be a back ninja. And then Choji gets run because Shika is a must.

Now some of these cards still see use, but the assumption has to be made that everyone uses the formation shiki. All of these cards get shut down to worthlessness or near worthlessness by him. Many could have provided interesting ideas for decks but are just ignored because he just makes it bad. Now I didn't include some cards that are affected, but not enough to stop their use (Like Tragic Name and Choji Formation). Oh and if I forgot any, or you want to debate some that were included feel free to.

No one card has ruined so many in the game of Naruto as Shiki Formation

Many cards on that list are ones that never got a chance because of formation. And Rock Lee the 5th gate opened is actually quite interesting since he isn't totally ruined by getting pinged by Choji....except shiki makes him dirt. Shiki ruins creativity in deck design.

No, Flexibility.

The real reason Formation is so good and commonly ran is because of Gaara/Shika/Chou, not becuase "Formation shutsdown everything"

Because Sasuke [Windmill of Shadows] and Rock Lee [HSM] are never used by FPS. And Choji [Chubby]/Naruto [Imposter/NTC] were pretty darn good back in the Curse days, which had a few people playing back then, methinks.

uhh, Tre, i seem to recall running Flex not because Formation sucked, but because Flex wasn't Ino's *****.

Formation always had the stronger effect. it just became more apparent when Gaara came into play.

that said, Formation Shika is a nuisance, sure. but would you rather get run over by Freedori again? borderline broken, sure, but absolutely necessary to keep cards that are much more disruptive in check.

I ran Flexy because Ino was flippin' unbelievable.

I still think BtL needs an errata. He's incredibly broken...
