Sadly, we all know Sasuke's going to find some way around the technique, and defeat Itachi with some UBERPWNsome **** from out of nowhere, again. It's sad, but probably true.

Err...the third Mangekyou techinque wasn't really of a twist. Because of the 3 Japanese gods of the Sun, Moon and Sea (respectively Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi and Susanoo) Susanoo was bound to show up. Like when we saw Orochimaru we were bound to get a Jiraiya and later on a Tsunade. Why? Because they were based on the Japanese folktale, "The Gallant Tale of Jiraiya." Because of that, this has long been theorized in many other Naruto forums. To me it basically was a matter of time. But Itachi can't use Susanoo anymore, due to the fact he has no chakra left and we saw him revert to his own eyes.
