when i first saw gaara i thought it was very good but i still underestimated it. i just thought it wasnt broke. but thats because i didnt know about how you can pretty much use its effect at any time like that and how you can keep him safe from just discarding the head ninja and stuff.

Guess its true that no one remembers 2nd place... Just messing with you Ari I know your a better player then 90% of the players.

Honestly, I get more arguement against what I say more then for it. While I have a dozen or so fanboys, I have alot of people who just argue with me for the sake of arguing with me. The ino aruements were mostly against me until after a couple weeks when people realized "Oh ****, shes retarded".

Ive Never said to people "Listen to me for I am GOD" or anything to that effect. The reputation I've gained is mostly based on the reasoning I use behind my statements, and how what I tend to say tends to be shown true through tournament results. Of coarse my own preformance and who my teamates are also factor into that.

I actually think I'm a pretty bad player on a national level. I know for sure that I pretty much lost my 2nd and 3rd round of the chunin because of some bad plays. I dropped after that because X-2 isn't very promising and the fact that I had work in the morning and I believe the top 8 didn't end till 12-2am because of some tourney problems.

That just puts pressure on me that I dont need, and only helps build up the "legend". I'm a player who's above average at best, and has a strong read on the meta. Most of the stuff I come up with is a joint effort between Myself, Dave Moll, Josh, and Bruce, though we also tend to dissagree alot (which is why Daves and my NYAF decks wereso different, while keeping the same basic Idea) but the again, thats what makes us a good team. We each have a different perspective on the same idea.

Yeah thats what a good play test group does. If you all had the same view on everything it would be the same as if you were by yourself. So its a good thing that people join together and represent different views and that the players in the group are about the same skill level.

The thing I don't like about that last statement is that if they go by the boards and results is that it leads to less innovation in deck building and while I know that the cookie cutter decks are cookie cutter for a reason that doesn't make it the end all that people seem to think it is. Just about everyone ran Gaara [TN] in 2-3s but the deck the won was a deck that was tailored to counter the heavy damage meta. Cus trading 1 water chakra to Senbon for one of your opponent's ninjas a pretty good deal if you ask me.

ehh..

i've been known to get into spats with top players over things. i tend to agree with them more than disagree, but that's typically just because they're right.

I would agree with you on Gaara seeing as I thought he was just meh. Though I LOVED SCJ when it came out, and Ino, to me and 2 friends, was just horrible and we all wanted to kill ourselves.

Yup. Responded in the quote seeing as I'm too lazy to break it apart.

My friend really believes you're a god and thinks everything you say is right. It annoys me so badly.

Honestly, Ive never met you or seen you play, but I trust Dave and Joshes opinions, and both have said good things about you in the past. You might just be rusty

Just about everyone ran Gaara [TN] in 2-3s but the deck the won was a deck that was tailored to counter the heavy damage meta.
At the NY Chunin before BoD we had multiple monowater tops that used senbon as its anti damage and SR 2nd for anti Gaara/shika/cho, its nothing new. The reason those decks didnt see T4 was because while they have 3 senbon, I have alot more times I can damage from gaara, choji, paperbomb, etc, and I have access to one of the more ridiculous jutsus in the game (SCJ) giving me the option to wreck to your best team with a meh ninja such as idate, as early as turn 1 off of 9th match. Sure water prison CAN stop it, but if I see you have 2 water, I'm going to block with a 2 man team and pump with the back ninja.

so yeah, like I said before the IDEA they were going for is right, but their build is just all over the place instead of focused and consistant toward the strategy.
