Dosu is useless once Shika hits the field. The one drop slot is already full with shika and temari (which every deck should have to be competitive).
Yes I know the new dosu bypasses shika, but it only hurts the head ninja and it has to be attacking so all you have to do is block with a head ninja you don't mind giving a damage to.

currently, I'm running Targeted Prey as a trial, honestly, it's not bad, lately I've been running into a string of really bad luck so I've been using ADP alot, if you need the cards badly send out TP with it, especially late game, not bad.

So you'd rather take away from Water's already fragile curve and put in more off-element ninja?

sonic impact, only because the new one dosu is a 1 power, so even if shika doesnt negate it, i can still over power it easily and just have an injured ninja to load into gaara.

sonic impact is a nice chump blocker, that just incase A shika is no more, or B it disallows them to send out multiple.

Dosu(SI) is very better.

I've tested Dosu(TP) when it came out..and it was absolutely horrible. Fighting Sexy Gaara is having the ability to hold up on Defense, and since Dosu(TP) only works on Offense...it doesnt work.

yes but working only on offence is better than not working at all. Every decent deck runs and will continue to run shikamaru usf. So basically its TP or nothing at all. TP actually did well for me with the shika/temari platoon. But i think most water decks would be better off with a new 1 drop, dosu isnt what he used to be.

Sonic Impact. At least it can block. Attacking w/Targeted Prey means he dies a turn earlier.

Ok, I have been reading everyones statements and I'm not just picking on this guy, but Dosu's effect goes off at the end of the showdown. Shika's effect goes off during the battle phase and only lasts through the battle phase. So Dosu still gets his effect.

Oh, and Dosu [SI] is the better one. ^_^
