Hello again, Shawn Sousa here for another Naruto CCG article for you, the second in the Metagame Mayhem series. In today's article, I will talk about 3 topics. First, I will talk about The Chosen, and this time, I will go more in-depth into it. And then I will talk more about the upcoming Jonin, and the decktypes I expect to see there. The Chosen will be a great set in my opinion. The reprints are sure to be great knowing that Hungry Ninja is on the job. But what will make this set shine is the new cards that will be released along with the reprints. And I sure hope that one of the cards that is released in The Chosen is an anti meta Water card. We desperatly need a card like this. Here is an example of a card I thought up of:

Sound Combat Atribute
This card would be a god-send to the game of Naruto. But the way this card would have to be released is as a common or uncommon. That way, it will be accessable to everyone, and everyone would have a good anti meta card to counter the metagame. This card would be great for all kinds of players. New players would actually have a chance at tournaments, and Gaara/Shika/Cho wouldn't be as big pf a problem, especially with the errata that will obviously come to Gaara of the Desert [Tragic Name]. Another card I would like to see is a new Fourth Hokage. Although it will be pretty hard because of the rights and stuff, but it will be enjoyable to have, because the current one is horrible in this meta, and the only good turn 6 ninja for Lightning is Jiraiya [Instruction of the Hidden Technique]. A good Fourth Hokage would be:

Valid: If this Ninja becomes the User of a "Rasengan" Jutsu card, you win one Battle Reward.
You can injure this Ninja if it is a Back Ninja to return one Ninja to it's owner's hand.

Oil Combat Atritbute
This card would make Rasengan Decks viable. It would make it so Rasengan could be used all over the place. These cards would make The Chosen a great set. But these are just cards I would like to see. We just need a water zero drop. A New Fourth Hokage would be great to have, but a good Water zero drop is absolutely needed. I hope that The Chosen has a lot of cards that we need for the meta to change.
My next topic is the Jonin at All Things Fun. I was thinking after my last article, and I changed my mind about the top deck lists. Heres how I think the Top 8 of the Jonin will go:
1 - A new version of Sexy Garra which incorperates new cards from Battle of Destiny and has a big secret Tech card.
2 - Mono-Water
3 - Sexy Gaara
4 - Mono-Water
5 - Mono-Lightning
6 - Sexy Gaara
7 - Fire/Earth DFC
8 - Some new deck no one has ever thought about.
Thi his Jonin will be a great event. It itll involve a lot of suprises, imo. I think that it will have a lot of new decktypes debut, but only one will make it to Top 8. I can't wait for this Jonin to see all of these decktypes in action.

That Zaku is terrible so it's entirely possible that Bandai WOULD print it as a 0 drop water. You have to take into consideration that adding a 1/1 to a team is useless when your trying to be proactive like that. A bigger team is all thats necessary to own that one.
Sexy gaara is just an aggro deck. It's always been a terrible deck but had a "RETARDED" draw engine behind it so it was run in massive quantities. It's possible that it will be top 8 but don't get your hopes up, since its pretty bad.
Why do you announce what your going to be writing about like this is a hour long podcast? I should stay away from you and ethan.... I feel like I'm wasting brain cells and time trying to make/understand the reasons you guys do and say things. Why didn't you show up at the local btw.

Kunoichi(its spelled that way on the card BTW) and Fire/Lightning Mill just aren't competitive enough. Kunoichi is too mission dependent and Fire/Lightning Mill requires a bit of luck and runs out of gas early. They are getting close to what they need to become Tier 1.5 though. Your a good guy and all but I wonder about what you say sometimes.
