The best way to counter Gaara TN is to run ninjas with good injured stats. Problem with that is there aren't that many for early game. Another counter is healing. The problem with this is Gaara may end up taking out a ninja and you can't heal a dead ninja. Hmmm. I get I don't have any ideas after all. Sorry. :P
