Mono is a lie

Ever tried to make a mono water or fire deck??
Then try to convince someone it IS a mono deck even tho your 0-2 drops are complete different types. It?s been on going for a few months now and the Kimi?s, Kakashi, itachi looked promising but still in the blinding light every deck that revolves around [TN] still stands tall. Naruto [Sp] looked playable with the Genin but once Bandai took that away, Sasuke was the new beef card. Sasuke became fire?s 6 drop and still came out toooo late.

Earth Gaara control or lightning/wind aggro.

Every deck you play that?s tourney worthy must be revolved around 9 pacific cards, and if not?.you wont touch the top.

what i see mono meaning is a deck that has hand cost cards matching the elelment for the mono deck


i.e. no missions jutsu or ninja that have a fire hand cost in a mono lightning deck

i dont think u should run gaara (tn) deck cause right as we speak alot of players r planning counters for gaara (tn) but if u can plan ahead of time then go for it and win win win

I see your point, and I'm afraid to say that I agree with you on some points. Naruto is starting to remind me a bit of Yu-Gi-Oh!, in that there are a few card (Gaara, Shika, Choji) that are in EVERY deck, and if you don't run them, you have no chance in tournaments. However, in response to the whole "mono-x decks are a lie" thing, anyone who says that has not grasped the concept of the splash. If they can't figure out that certain elements have weaknesses in certain areas, and need a different element ninja to correct that, then they aren't worth the time to argue with.

Yeah, like Fireball and Paper Bomb? Those were pretty good Ino counters considering she isn't valid. I used them all the time. Still use them, in fact. Gaara can't handle them.
