4/6/06 Myke`s Card of the Day: Make-Out Paradise.
Hello, Im back, I recently moved from Anaheim to...Anaheim. What a busy move it was, and finally i got my internets back! So back to card of the day.
Today, i figured we can check out a mission card. Mission:7 Name: Make-Out Paradise Target: 1 of your Ninjas Effect: When the target`s team wins an outstanding battle reward or an outstanding victory during this turn, get an additional battle reward. Turn Cost: 2 Hand Cost: 1 Element: Fire Ruling Note: All judges agree that is the one of the coolest card names ever for ANY card game. ![]() This card is great for sneaking a battle reward away from your opponent. If you can outnumber your opponent with strong attacking teams, an unblocked ninja team with a power of 5 or more, will actually next you 3 battle rewards. Not too shabby. Often though, this card is kinda dead, specially early game. Conversly, this can pull out a much needed win. Very swingy. Myke-O-Meter: 3/5 What do you think?! |

Meh, it seems to me as just a win more card. If you're in a position to pull of Outstanding battles or get through unblocked you're probably winning and this card doesn't anything to keep your position either. Also since you have to target a Ninja when you play the mission, you're opponent is going to know what's coming and will definately be blocking that team. The idea of getting a battle reward from a battle victory is cool (sort of like Trample damage) but not cool enough to make me actually run this.

Isn't it you get to add an additional if you get an "outstanding battle reward" and not "victory"? You don't get a battle reward for getting an "outstanding victory" only for getting an "outstanding battle reward" (and normal battle reward too). And the word "additional" is there so they wouldn't put it there if you were not earning any in the first place.

It's both, if you get an outstanding non contested, or contested victory in battle, you get an extra battle reward.

not a bad card... but it will often be a dead card. A deck that goes full on and build massive attack power could find that card really useful but right it's just an ok cards. I like the fact that this cards can steal a game
