Launch Kits

Okay I looked for this but I can't seem to find anything....Does anyone know what will be in launch kits? Will there be kits? And how are the tournaments to be done...Sealed? Just wondering.

Tournament format is decided by the venue running the events.

There are no launch kits for Naruto, there will be tournament kits once the organized play gets going for the game.

are you sure about that?? i've heard otherwise.

the launch kit will have some promo cards and a prize for the winner of the event.

there's only a small amount available, and only one per location. the Meijins should have already been notified.

the launch format may have some fixed parameters just to keep it consistent from coast to coast, but i think there will be a lot of variations for prizing from store to store.

also, although the demo kits are hastily being prepared to get out as soon as possible, the launch kits probably won't be mailed out until the week of the event.

the 'kit' in question was talked about in a mejin email... this is a direct quote from it;

"Bandai will be launching the new Naruto CCG on April 28th – 30th weekend! The first 100 locations that respond to this e-mail will have the opportunity to receive a FREE Naruto Launch Kit from Bandai. The Naruto Launch Kit will include 30 exclusive Naruto game cards and 2 exclusive Naurto CCG T-shirts. All items are being made especially for this one time event."

no offence, but, uh, i highly doubt that, from what i read in another thread, the distributors dont even have cards, the only cards out right now are the ones that were used at gama.

So what exactly are these launch kits now? and someone was mentioning them as prizes? does that mean that there will be launch tournies or something?
