Well I havn't seen Sakuras card yet, but Nara Shikimaru is a major support player. Support is good in a lot of aspects, also if you watch the series, Shikimaru is more of a support/leader type character. He thinks and plans before doing anything. I would put him in a deck becuase I think he and someone else out of the genin have a 2 for support. I don't see him as useless.

Where did you find stats on Sakura anyways or are you useing the japanese cards to gauge?

Well shikamaru in the series fights only when he has to fight, he doesnt go running in battles like naruto. Even when hes fighting he doesnt want to fight, although when he does he is a good strategist. I think the abilty suits him fine even if it does really suck, because it suits his character in the series.

Which it wasnt my point ot say he in the series sucks.... *points at name* im just saying, that in MY opinion and i guess some others he sucks in the ccg, and this is for this set anyway,

Furthermore, i dont plan on talking about any jap cards, cause i dont care about them.

I totally agree that he sucks in the ccg right now, i never said he sucked in the series, he just didnt do much until the last chunin exam. This card seems to reflect how lazy he is, so hopefully the make a card reflecting his genius, anyways every character has to at least have one suckie card right

i have a great feeling that the main characters (naruto,sasuke,sakura,kakashi) will have a ton of cards for them and everyone else will suck *lets hope not**sigh** oh well one can only hope

hehe, go find some japanese series spoilers and u will know.....

I personally like this Shikamaru card. You can play him really early in the game and he has a really high support number (Considering his turn cost is really low). He can give your team that extra boost to win the game. I believe that support is crucial in this game.

now that it is shikamaru instead of sakura.I'll give him a good support but thats proboly all hel be until anext set makes aggod shikamaru or his shadow jutsus.So hes a 3/5 for support and 0/5 for average but he might make it in one my decks.
