Naruto is aimed at a crowd that's a bit older than Zatch Bell and Digimon, though. Hopefully, once everything gets up and running, they'll reconsider and giving us sigs if we can keep everything under control.

I agree because if we get them to early i bet people will start abuse the right of sigs and end up putting bad things on their sigs

I'm sure that we're all responsible people here.

Sadly, we would abuse the sigs if we were given them. Many people here are from Zatch Bell and Digimon, and I don't think anything would change with them and sigs between those games and this one...

Atleast someone agrees with me. Mods SMods and the Admin or thetop Advisors so they should be allowed sigs because they could handle the responsibility. Not saying that we couldn't

I agree with you aswell. The mods would be able to handle them responsibly, and I know a lot of us would be able to also, but it's true that some idiots would abuse the rights.

Part of the issue may be how easy or difficult it is for a Moderator to fix offending signatures. What I mean is this:

In some board softwares, ie YaBB or Proboards, it's possible to give Moderators the ability to alter profiles, and thus quickly remove a signature with cuss words, Henry Wong in his underpants, ect. And even ban people who continually flagrantly defy the rules.

In others, such as PHPBB, the only ones who can modify profiles or ban users are the board Administrators. A Moderator could ask them to change it or remove it, but only an Administrator could make them.

As I've never Modded or Adminned a VBulletin forum, I have no idea where in that spectrum of options this board's software falls. I suspect it's closer to the PHPBB version, which means we'll probably never get sigs back: if the Digimon board is typical, the Administrators are hardly ever on.
