your chances are, at the most, 3 in 40 of drwing a naruto on your first turn. Strategetically it's about 10 times smarter to have the promo. |

Yeah. If your deck is at minimum limit then your chances of getting your favorite combo will be pretty easy.

If I did the math right (pretty sure I might have messed up somewhere. Anyone else know probability?), you actually have about a 50% chance of opening with a first turn Naruto. |

ok so in your first turn you have about an 9/40 chance of pulling a naruto on first turn. but then again you have a great chance of pulling another 0 turn cost ninja. your not only going to have one. i still think statistically there is a better chance subbing the normal for the promo naruto. remeber those two combat points you have can be the diff between having him live and die. its better to try with the stronger point considering the fact that your opponent may get and outstanding combat victory.

No, you don't have a 9/40 chance. The first card you draw you have a 3/40 chance, the 2nd card you have a 3/39 chance, 3rd card has 3/38 and so on. Each card you draw, you have a better chance of drawing into the Naruto since there will be less cards in the deck each time you draw. Like I said, my math isn't perfect but you do have about a 50% of having a Naruto in your opening hand each game.
