Yugioh, M:TG, and VS are my games right now, with VS being my main focus. Too many in the past to count! Side note: did anyone else ever play Middle-Earth? |

some of the combo that i remember off hand (been about 4 years): Lifeline (artifact;if a creture dies and another one is in play, the one that died comes back) Claws of gix (artifact;1: sac something, gain 1 life) Squirrel Wrangler (creature;1G: sac a forest get two squirrels or all squirrels get +1/+1 untill end of turn) Living Lands (enchant;all forests are 1/1 creatures that are still lands) Deranged Hermit (creature;comes into play put four 1/1 squirrel tokens into play, echo; repay casting cost next upkeep) Dual Nature (enchant;when a non-token creature comes into play, duplicate it) Coat of Arms (artifact; creatures of the same type [elf, squirrel, ect] get +1/+1 for each other creature of the same type) end of turn, sac the hermit and the lifeline would bring it back, never pay the echo, use the squirrel wrangler to sacrifice a forest that would come back at the end of turn with the lifeline because of the living lands [unfortunatly i was told by the judge that the dual nature doesnt work on the forests when they come back]... coat of arms kept them alive in terms of just a hit everything spell... the rest of the cards were oddballs that did similar things to get the ball rolling... combo 2 for the deck: Words of War (1: instead of drawing a card, deal 2 damage to a target) Gaea's Cradle (legendary land, get one G mana for each creature) Collective Unconciousness (sorcery; for each creature you control draw a card) tap the cradle after i got a bunch of tokens out, cast the Collective, skip drawing 6 of the cards [because of the casting cost for collective] and then kill off the oponent.... yea, i have fun with decks... way to elaborate combos for my own good.... |

I have been known to make decks that are really good but i generally make rush decks first then brance out for other types. In L5R (Control / Rush), YGO (Beatdown / Exodia), MtG (Burn / Sapproling) Cyberpunk (Unmasked / Ops points).
It all depends on what you do and your play style. I like to make decks that even if i loose i have fun. Cause the best sign of a game is if you can have fun even when your loosing then i'm impressed, I'm tired of CCG's that come out with ONE broken combo and you can see it a mile away and people dont have any originality. |
