Well you saw how big the threads about the new cards got. There will just be more like that so they might as well be somewhere to put them.

last i checked, it is of the norm to open a discussion forum for a set before a card list is introduced.

maybe because they are going to post previews fast like the lee and the ino-shika-cho+hinata thing

I guess cause they anticipated that we would start conversing like crazy over the new cards and they didn't want to have to move all the post over to this thread. But more or less I do believe we will get the previews for this set faster for some reason.
