Should they introduce new characters to the Japanese manga?

I say no. We have such great and unique characters right now!

What there needs to be is more information about the characters we already have. In my opinion, the character that has gottent he most characterization out of all the Naruto cast has been Rock Lee.

I know some people need(and want) to learn more about everyones favorite characters.

I say yes only because I know more will be down the line. More of the Akatsuki need to be revealed and I think Kishimoto likes tossing them out (ex. Sai).

I agree with Dante Night on showing more characters that are villains/enemies/side characters. I meant that there shouldn't be any new Main/Secondary characters if that makes any sense.

That makes perfect sense, I'd like to see no more Sai's pop out.

Ugh, don't get me started on Sai.

It's just, the main/secondary characters are so unique and different(for the most part) than any other anime/manga characters and should be devloped more.

I can't wait to see what kind of Ninja are in Akatsuki.

I would also add in interesting too. That is a very rare case in manga, most of the side characters can be very one dimensional.

To me, I'd at least like to know about her past!! She's the only Genin (before arc 2) that hasn't had her past reviewed! Nor has it been in the fillers, and not even in the manga..

I'd say we're fine with the characters we have now. If they were to add more characters into the series, it would do nothing but prolong the series ending. Which FUNImation/Viz is famous for.

Anyone ever see Inuyasha? They have like 500+ episodes! WAY too long of a series IMO.

Some other famous Manga/Anime series produced by FUNImation/Viz with WAY too many episodes:

Dragon Ball/Z/GT
Inuyasha
Naruto (I do enjoy it, but I hope they have an ending planned. And not to just keep fighting different enemies over and over like DBZ and such)
All of the Tenchi Muyo series
Yu-Yu Hakusho

And many others, All with the same fault.. Going on WAY too long, even after the main enemy of the story has been defeated. They keep on going onto stupid, pointless stuff.

So in the long run, i'm basicly trying to say that Naruto is fine where it's at.
